    November's 'Development Insight':

I'm going to do a monthly development insight into one mod I release within the current month (e.g. November for this one) whether it has released or not to explain what goes on behind-the-scenes ;).

This Month's Case Study: (TG08) Grand Central (HST)

We chat to the OP of this thread, TrainGeek08, to talk about the livery (below) '(TG08) Grand Central (HST)', that will release next week :).

That logo looks fantastic! Why did you do the logo so well-detailed?

TrainGeek08: "Detail is everything in this day and age of Creators Club livery creation. People will subscribe to content that is detailed. The logo is a key asset to the Grand Central livery that I needed to do it justice, which I think will pay off."

If you could improve one thing on this livery, what would it be? Or do you think you have perfected everything on this livery?
TG08: "To be quite frank with you, I think I have perfected everything there is on this livery. I cannot think of any other improvements to the livery. It's stunning!"

How long did it take you to make the livery?
TG08: "It took me a long time to do this one. It took me 2 hours and 10 minutes to create this gem of a livery. Just goes to show that more time = more detail = more subscribers on CC (hopefully)."

You explained in your CC Releases and Updates thread that you have changed how you go about liveries, can you elaborate on this?
TG08: "Of course. Before TSW6, I just made the livery, and didn't really focus on stuff i.e. intricate angles or whatnot. This meant that some work looked great, but others looked mediocre. So, for TSW6 and onwards, I will put more time and effort into creating every single livery that I make; regardless if it is a locomotive or a multiple unit, it will receive delicate care, and it will not be finished until it looks as close to my reference imagery as it can, and when I'm happy with it. If I'm not happy with it, then I will continue until I am happy with it. My mentality going forwards is maximum detail. Whether it takes 2 hours, or even 5, I want my liveries to have the most detail that I can provide for them."

Did you enjoy creating this masterpiece of a livery?

TG08: "Ooohhh yes I did! Had an absolute blast creating this livery. It's probably the most fun I've had in making a livery not only in 2025, but in a long while."

Will you do more HST liveries in the future?

TG08: "I'll keep my lips sealed for this one... I cannot tell you."

Thanks to TrainGeek08 for taking the time to answer those burning questions for us :).

    Conclusion:
Anyway, this is it then, hope you enjoyed this one, put your thoughts below. From me, TrainGeek08, I'll see you soon for another CC release announcement, enjoy the rest of your night and goodbye ;).
