This Month's Case Study: (TG08) CargoServ (BR 193) We chat to the OP of this thread, TrainGeek08 to talk about the livery (below) '(TG08) CargoServ (BR 193)' that released around a week ago . Did this livery turn out how you expected? TrainGeek08: "Once I had found my feet and got into the swing of it, it was all piecing itself together, which made me very happy at the time of creation! I am proud of how this livery turned out. However, it seems the community (surprisingly!) disagree with me though..." Did you anticipate it having less subscribers than your other Vectron liveries? TG08: "No! I thought that it would do as good as the other two Vectron liveries, and I am stumped on the reason why it has flopped so badly." Do the factors asked above affect any more liveries you plan to make this year on the Vectron? TG08: "No, not really! I will still try my hardest to make any liveries on the Vectron as good as they can be, regardless of how the community see it. Who cares if the subscriber count is poor at release? If the livery looks great, it's all that matters. Please subscribe folks!" Are there any areas in which you could've done better? TG08: "No, not really. The only thing I could say I could've improved on was the technical information. However, in fairness, my reference image was not the best quality, so I could not capture the full extent of the technical information, which I know that you all enjoy!" Why did you choose to make this livery? TG08: "I wanted a challenge. I knew how well my MRCE and FLIXTRAIN liveries did last year, and I hoped that this one would do as well. Unfortunately, as discussed above, this was not the case, but it is still a good livery to have an attempt at making." Everyone's favourite; How long did it take you to make this livery? TG08: "It took me 1 hour and 20 minutes to complete this livery. No rush, no fuss!" Thanks to TrainGeek08 for taking the time to answer those burning questions for us . Railfan Location Reveal: In this new segment, I will announce the location of where my railfan scenario will take place each month following great feedback on the potential of me doing railfan-style scenarios. March's Location is... ...Essen Hbf! Since nobody got it right, I have some explaining to do... Here's the clues again: - It is in Germany, - You can interchange with the U-Bahn at this station, - It is halfway along a Rhein-Ruhr route, - The city has seven stations on that Rhein-Ruhr route. Answers: (they are all in spoilers in case you don't want to know) Spoiler: Clue 1 Answer Essen Hbf is in Germany Spoiler: Clue 2 Answer Essen Hbf interchanges with the U-Bahn Spoiler: Clue 3 Answer Essen Hbf is situated (roughly) halfway between Duisburg Hbf and Bochum Hbf on Hauptstrecke Rhein-Ruhr Spoiler: Clue 4 Answer Essen has seven represented stations on HRR; Frohnhausen, West, Hbf, Steele, Steele-Ost, Eiberg, Kray-Sud (no trains stop at Kray-Sud) TrainGeek08: "From what I've seen in testing, the scenario works really well with constant action from trains coming to/from Duisburg Hbf/Bochum Hbf. The scenario plays for 20 minutes so pick your spot and take some pictures." More will be revealed soon... Conclusion: Anyway, this is it then, hope you enjoyed this one, put your thoughts below. From me, TrainGeek08, I'll see you soon for another CC release announcement, enjoy the rest of your day and goodbye . Release date changes: Suffragette Line - Overground Capital (378): Thursday 13th February 2025 to Thursday 10th April 2025 (Mildmay Line not released yet)
