    April's 'Development Insights':

I'm going to do two monthly development insights (into one scenario and one livery) I release within the current month (e.g. April for this one) whether they have released or not to explain what goes on behind-the-scenes ;).

    This Month's Case Studies: (TG08) RailAdventure (BR 103) + (TG08) 1P92 EUS-BPN (805)

We chat to the OP of this thread, TrainGeek08, to firstly talk about the livery (below) '(TG08) RailAdventure (BR 103)', that releases next week.

What brought you to choose RailAdventure for this livery?

TrainGeek08: "It is more of a case of the BR 103 having limited liveries that it wears nowadays as there are so few left in regular service. I saw this livery and thought 'why not give this a go?' so that's how this livery before you came about."

How do you think this livery will compare to the DB Traffic Red 103 you made previously?
TG08: "Well... I know that the community loved the Traffic Red 103. It is one of my most popular European liveries I have made, so it will be a hard task for this livery to overcome the previous DB livery."

How long did the livery take to create?
TG08: "This livery took me around 45 minutes to complete. Fairly decent duration there, and it means that the livery wasn't rushed either. Rushed liveries don't get you very far on CC..."

Is there anything that you could've improved on?
TG08: "Yes. I didn't get the full technical information on the sides i.e. weight specifications because I had limited reference material to go off. Other than that, I'm satisfied with the job I did."

Are you happy with the job you did on this livery?

TG08: "Absolutely! It screams my ethos of detail. Technical information is there, colours are accurate. It makes me feel very satisfied and impressed that I managed to complete this livery."

Will you be making a RailAdventure HST in the future?

TG08: "I'm not saying anything. If it's not on the Roadmap..."

We then ask TrainGeek08 to discuss the scenario (below) '(TG08) 1P92 EUS-BPN (805)', that released earlier this week.

This isn't the Old MBTA coaches... Why did you make this instead?

TrainGeek08: "I'll refer you to this message from my CC Releases and Updates Thread:
That should explain the situation why I had to improvise with the two Blackpool scenarios."

When was this scenario supposed to release?
TG08: "I had these two scenarios penciled in for an October release. I couldn't tell you a date, but it would've been at some point in October."

Why did you choose to make a two-part scenario (along with 1A92)?

TG08: "I made a two-part scenario because it is something I don't do that often. This is a perfect opportunity to do this type of scenario because of the turnaround time at Blackpool only being 20 minutes. It is nice to switch it up a little."

How long does the scenario play for?
TG08: "This scenario plays for slightly longer than its counterpart (at 25-30mins) because you have to wait at Preston for five minutes as the previous driver arrived from Euston a few minutes early."

What made you choose the 'Evero' over the 'Pendolino', considering how you adore the latter so dearly?

TG08: "I chose the Evero because I hadn't used the Evero in a scenario prior to this one since its release at the start of the year. And there is no need for you to point out I'm a Pendolino fan either... I can do that myself thank you very much :D!"

Are you happy with the reception it is received on CC this week?

TG08: "Overall yeah. Could it be better? Yeah. Am I happy with 1P92 doing better than 1A92? Yeah. I mean for an improvised pair of scenarios, I think they have been well received!"

Thanks to TrainGeek08 for taking the time to answer those burning questions for us :).

    Conclusion:
Anyway, I hope you enjoyed this one, put your thoughts below as ever . From me, TrainGeek08, I'll see you soon for another CC release announcement, enjoy the rest of your day and goodbye ;).
