I'm going to do a monthly development insight into one mod I release within the current month (e.g. October for this one) whether it has released or not to explain what goes on behind-the-scenes October's Development Insight: Case Study: (TG08) The Carmine Era (314) We chat to the OP of this thread, TrainGeek08 to talk about the scenario '(TG08) The Carmine Era' that was uploaded to Creator's Club a couple of days ago Why 'The Carmine Era'? TrainGeek08: "Well, I wanted to have a bit of variety as all you would see on the normal timetable are Saltire-liveried 314s unless you had your own liveries or liveries you have downloaded off of the Creator's Club. I like the Carmine & Cream livery and I think it suits the 314s more than the Saltire livery." How did you place AI in the scenario? TG08: "I placed trains down at select stations on the route in the hope that you would see most of them on your journey to Neilston." How does it feel making a scenario for Cathcart again as your last one was in February? TG08: "It feels great to be back making a scenario for this route as like you say, the last scenario I made (which was a requested scenario) released in February and it's nice to drive the 314 again." What year is this scenario set in? TG08: "This scenario is set in 2009, back when the 314s were all in Carmine & Cream livery." Did you enjoy making the scenario? TG08: "Yes, I did enjoy it, especially with all the bugs which have plagued Scenario Planner since the release of Train Sim World 4 and it was nice to get something out as I had to cancel the previous mod due to the bugs in question." Is there anything you could have done better in the scenario? TG08: "I could've made the scenario to Newton instead and utilised the new chaining paths feature so I could have routed the player via Pollokshields East going to Newton and via Pollokshields West on the way back to Glasgow." Thanks to TrainGeek08 for taking the time to answer those burning questions for us Conclusion: Anyway, this is it then, hope you enjoyed this one, put your thoughts below, from me, TrainGeek08, I'll see you soon for another CC release announcement or suggestion, enjoy the rest of your day and goodbye Release date changes: N/A
