I'm going to do a monthly development insight into one mod I release within the current month (e.g October for this one) whether it has released or not to explain what goes on behind-the-scenes October's 'Development Insight': Case Study: (TG08) Back to East Coast (HST) We chat to the OP of this thread, TrainGeek08 to talk about the two-part scenario (below) '(TG08) Back to East Coast (HST)' that will both release next week . Why did you choose to make these scenarios? TrainGeek08: "I wanted to make something different to the usual Azuma run along the East Coast Main Line. Obviously not having a Class 91 is difficult in itself but I managed to pull together a two-part scenario with just HSTs for the East Coast AI." Did you enjoy making the scenarios? TG08: "Yes, and I hope that the Class 91 gets added as it would've made it more fun to create and therefore making it more accurate." Have the community supported these scenario announcements? TG08: "Yes, I have had a bit more praise and questions than usual, which shows that the community still care for my projects even if they do not reply for every single release so thank you for the massive uproar the other day, I now know I have potential subscribers waiting until next Wednesday for this two-part scenario to release." What reference material did you use to make the scenarios? TG08: "I used the May 2013 Working Timetable for both scenarios, and 90% of services are in as per reality, the last remaining 10% are not because of insufficient spawn points/portals to run into or out of (tut tut DTG...) or due to not having the rolling stock in game (Class 180...)." How long do the scenarios play for? TG08: "The scenarios play for around 35 minutes each way, which is an ideal length considering you guys are getting two 1 hour long scenario releases beforehand." How popular do you think the scenarios will be after release? TG08: "They will be popular, as the huge uproar by the community following the announcements suggest. I hope you enjoy it all folks!" Thanks to TrainGeek08 for taking the time to answer those burning questions for us Conclusion: Anyway, this is it then, hope you enjoyed this one, put your thoughts below, from me, TrainGeek08, I'll see you soon for another CC release announcement, enjoy the rest of your day and goodbye . Release date changes: Glossop Line: Scenario Pack: 2000s - Wednesday 30th October 2024 -> Sunday 27th October 2024
