Welcome all to my December Creator's Club Roadmap, I'm TrainGeek08, and today I am going to announce what mods I'm releasing over the next month from a variety of different routes around the world .

October's 'Development Insight':
I'm going to do a monthly development insight into one mod I release within the current month (e.g. October for this one) whether it has released or not to explain what goes on behind-the-scenes .

This Month's Case Study: (TG08) Alex (BR 182)

We chat to the OP of this thread, TrainGeek08, to talk about the livery (below) '(TG08) Alex (BR 182)', that released last weekend .






This is the only release from you in October, why is this?
TrainGeek08: "Well... I have been on holiday for the past five days (as of writing) and have just got back today. There are more releases due from the rest of the month though, so don't you worry."

Did you choose to go for all the details because it was your first TSW6 livery or not?
TG08: "I always strive for detail, regardless if it is a first release for a new game or the last release for an outgoing game. People like detailed liveries compared to mediocre, unbranded or rushed liveries."

What techniques did you use to create the logo/technical information etc.?
TG08: "The logo was made out of shapes, as it is way better than using text, especially considering how the Alex logo is made up. The technical information was done using decals and text where possible, and I had to use a few different reference images to actually make out the technical information in order for it to be accurate enough for my liking."

How long did it take to create the livery?
TG08: "It took me 2 hours and 10 minutes to make the livery. Quite a long time with all the technical information and branding I had to do, but hey ho!"

Did the thought cross your mind to do coaches with the loco?
TG08: "Initially, yes. However, once I started making the livery, I realised that the loco was just enough. Maybe next year for the coaches ."

How well has it done (on CC) in the week since it released?
TG08: "As of the time of writing, the livery has 33 subscribers on Creators Club. I'm very impressed with how well it has done, especially considering the time it took to make the livery. It proves that my effort has paid off!"
