I'm going to do a monthly development insight into one mod I release within the current month (e.g. June for this one) whether it has released or not to explain what goes on behind-the-scenes August's Development Insight: Case Study: (TG08) 9O84 STP-MSC (373)/(TG08) 9O87 MSC-STP (373) We chat to the OP of this thread, TrainGeek08 to talk about the scenarios '9O84 STP-MSC' & '9O87 MSC-STP' that were uploaded to Creator's Club a couple of weeks ago What gave you the inspiration to make those scenarios? TrainGeek08: "I watched a video on YouTube of Trains at Avignon by ScouseTrainspotter1999 and it was filmed at the time Eurostar served Marseille so thought, that would be great in TSW on LGV Mediteranee. " How did you place AI in the scenario? TG08: "I just put one train at Aix-en-Provence in the opposite direction to the player and likewise a train from Avignon plus a static train sat in Marseille Saint-Charles as LGV Mediteranee has limited spawn points in Scenario Planner. " How long did each scenario take to make? TG08: "Due to the limited SP spawn points, both scenarios only took about 10 minutes to complete." What year are these scenarios set in? TG08: "These scenarios are set in 2017, when Eurostar did serve Marseille (in summer months only) as they have stopped running to Marseille for the foreseeable with everything that has been happening for the last few years." Did you enjoy making the scenarios? TG08: "I liked making them as it was quite quick to do and didn't require a lot of thought however I do make scenarios that are the opposite (so take longer and are more difficult to make) to enable a range in scenario difficulty and duration." How is the subscriber count doing? TG08: "The subscriber count is doing alright, it seems 9O87 is more popular than 9O84 for some reason as it has around 40 subscribers whereas 9O84 has around 30." Thanks to TrainGeek08 for taking the time to answer those burning questions for us Conclusion: Anyway, this is it then, hope you enjoyed this one, put your thoughts below, from me, TrainGeek08, I'll see you soon for another CC release announcement or suggestion, enjoy the rest of your day and goodbye Release date changes: N/A
I think I had the same interviewer, but he wasn't as impressed by my answers and the interview was canned!
Hello all, I just gonna address a few things regarding the TSW4 announcement earlier and how the RM's are going to be going forward: How does TSW4 affect my Creator's Club Roadmap? It affects it quite a bit actually as some releases might come out differently i.e. the Mines Tour will be one or two parts instead of five but my Scenario Packs won't change however they will be more flexible with the chaining paths feature so you may have reversals in them now... I'm unsure whether the Cajon scenario and the GWE Scenario Pack would go out but I'll keep you updated on how they are doing if they do get cut from the RM I will add a livery or scenario for each TSW4 core routes in the next Roadmap so look out for them Thanks for your understanding, TrainGeek08
