I have a query regarding the new Training Centre. In TSW3 the TC featured the TSW3 core trains and some DLC trains of owned. I TSW4 the TC featured the TSW4 core trains and some DLC trains if owned. Now in TSW5 the TC does not feature the new core trains. For me I still have the exact same trains as the TSW4 version despite owning and installing all TSW5 content. Is this correct or is my installation wrong.
You should be able to remove or spawn in any train of your choosing with the tab key....it doesnt really matter a whole lot which trains are already sitting there tbh
To me it actually does as I like having a pre spawned playground as such without have to spawn stuff in. Also my 5 year old daughter like having all the trains sitting there without me having to spawn them in. She knows how to cold start a few up from memory. I'm just wondering have DTG changed the formula of the Training Centre from past games or not or is there an issue with my DLC but I cannot get a straight answer.
I have the TSW4 trains in my TC as well....so there's no issue with your DLC. I'm guessing they just didn't update the line-up for the TSW5 TC
Is it because the training centre is free? They'd hardly include the latest trains or locos would they
I also found it weird to see the TSW4 line-up in TSW5's Training Centre. In previous iterations, the more of the core trains you had, the more populated the centre was. In TSW5, this is no longer the case, requiring a (now) seemingly random assortment of routes to populate it. The new TTC 146 + Dostos have to be spawned in manually. I would've thought it would be placed on the map by default.
Possibly after the starter pack claim period expires (Oct 17th) they will update the TC line-up as the only way to get TSW5 at that point is via one of the editions.
Thank you for confirming my situation so far. Like others have stated I would have thought that the TSW5 core trains would naturally populate the TC map as and when you own them like previous iterations. I have thought the TTC 146.2 would be there naturally also. What I find odd is that I have the Railpool Vectron there but not the DB or Flixtrain version which I own. Or that the DB 411 would replace the class 801 Azuma but that not the case oddly enough.
The Railpool Vectron was part of the TSW4 Deluxe Edition. It was there in the last TSW Training Centre.
Yes exactly, why is it in the TSW5 TC and not the DB or Flixtrain Vectron, which would make sense. I have the Deluxe version of TSW5 yet DTG have the entire TSW4 roster as standard in the TSW5 training centre. I just find it a big oversight on DTGs part compared to what has come before.
Selfishly, as someone who has the Free Starter Pack, I am quite glad I still get my playground from TSW4. I loved it! However, If I had paid for TSW5, I would be slightly underwhelmed.
