Feature Trainspotters And Workers!

It’s more of a little feature but i would love to see some trainspotters on some platforms with their cameras or go pros etc and even for them to wave at us as we drive past a station giving them some tones

Same goes for workers as well!!

 

Reminds me of a Badger Railtour scenario I was recently playing in TSC. Wasn't expecting such a crowd

 

Yep they have them in TSC! Shouldn’t be a problem adding them in TSW

Funnily enough, I was just thinking about this today as I took the HST for a spin on MML.

 

Wasn't this supposed to be a thing way back on TSW2 Rush Hour?

 

Yeah here and there you can still find few. Mostly the overground line has alot of these assets!

This made an appearance in a couple of scenarios in the 'New Journeys' pack for TSW2. A shame it never returned...

The cameras even flash at regular intervals.

I think just having people standing in spotter friendly locations would suffice (anoraks and a flask of weak lemon drink optional) but not have them holding up cameras all the time, as it is clearly hard to get that looking natural.

More generally, having people dotted around routes, not just passengers at stations, would add so much to the game. The world needs people. They could have people is several locations that have a percentage chance of appearing. Will the young lad be by the level crossing this time? There he is! I’d like that.

You may want to consume your weak lemon drink now or save it for later. (I bet nobody gets this reference)

 

This is a feature that I'm glad someone had suggested. Apart from Rush-Hour, the trainspotters also made an appearance as the Tier 2 Mastery Reward for Spirit of Steam but:
- They are always present
- Follow the player rather then the trains which is creepy
- Only appear at Crewe (as far as I am aware)

 

I haven’t tried Spirit of Steam so i’ve never had the experience of seeing them which is a shame. I didn’t even know they were added in previous TSW games too.

 

This suggest is a must for train SIM world. DTG won't be able to make this for release for TSW5 but it needs to be added as soon as the next update is! Love the suggestion! Just need DTG to see it.

Maybe not a Trainspotter mode.. i think that will be hard to implement. But other than that we need stuff like this in train SIM world it's so simple.. with trainspotter mode you will need to code everything and it will just be a living nightmare.

 

Hmm it might just be me but i can’t see how Trainspotter Mode would be difficult to implement. But yes, we do need trainspotters (and workers ofc) on TSW!!!
