Hello Dovetail Games I would like to suggest to add Npcs Trainspottersto the game , Npcs filming our train For fun so then we can Horn For them, It would be run to add That ,Thank you Dovetail games .
@olgierd I don't think you've been playing TSW for very long, have you? Because NPCs like that, who stand there as trainspotter and even turn around, already exist in TSW.
On some routes they do yes, I've seen a couple of NPCs with cameras on Mildmay line, but they are always there. Personally I think certain services should cause extra spotter NPCs to spawn. Like a 387 isn't really that exciting, especially with how frequent LO services run. Say you're driving a railtour with the Scotsman. That should draw a crowd
Sounds like a fun idea, having been to quite a few railtours in person, I know a lot of them can get very busy (especially steam tours or at larger stations), and at the moment in the game I just act like there would be that crowd at a station and give tones/whistles etc. to the 'imaginary crowd' there, but it would be a lot nicer if they were actually there. Another thought could be that you can get action points or something of the equivalent whenever you do pick out the spotters (maybe give a purpose to the spotters that impacts the game not just for a little 'easter egg' of sorts)
