Considering buying TramSim now that it’s on sale on PlayStation. Just wondering what people who have bought it think of it. Thank you.
I grabbed it in the sales but haven’t yet tried it. Am hoping the DLC continues with some British trams.
It's been out a while around a year on PC and no DLC. I wouldn't count on DLC, especially UK DLC is the near future.
Not tried it myself but The British Ace has done a playlist (26 videos) for it on you tube. May help you make up your mind.
I bought it a few weeks ago, I'm really enjoying it. Gotta keep on your toes regarding signals and traffic, the cities look gorgeous, the trams are fantastic and you can have the settings so the game sets up the tram for you and you just head on your way. I'm glad I purchased it.
So are you saying it’s effectively abandon-ware with no more lines planned? That would be a crying shame, and wasted potential. Perhaps DTG could take over the franchise and continue its development.
A new worktrain type tramway is coming it’ll be the LH for Vienna but no date now and they’re busy with CityDriver at the moment, they might plan to do more routes or change the city but personally I think the franchise won’t develop that much
As far as I've seen all the DLC for the PC version (at least for trams, possibly locations too) are included on the console versions for free.
Also be aware that older consoles (like PS4) have almost 0 AI. No other trams circulating, Vienna seems to have some cars but Munchen is totally empty. Nice challenge to keep up to the timetable though, and Vienna has some cool landmarks that you can spot around the map. Nice to mention the schedule with runs in and out of the depot (Vienna only) and the different pause times at the various termini of the lines.
