Standard - £32.99 (no discount available) Deluxe - £39.99 (£35.99 if you have PS Plus) Personally gonna avoid this one, trams aren’t really my thing & the road traffic looks sparse, which will kill immersion.
At this point definitely think DTG need a dedicated Tram Sim forum as per Catan and Fishing, with threads popping up in here and Off Topic. DTG Alex DTG JD
Could we also get an explanation why this won’t be coming to Xbox? It seems unfair to make it for ps but just leave Xbox behind
It will be though, just because you can’t pre order it, doesn’t mean you won’t get it. Either Xbox won’t take pre-orders or they just aren’t live yet, not that it matters since they won’t run of out digital copies.
He might be referring to the sales but hey it’s down to Sony and Microsoft for that, DTG can’t decide for consoles users
Sales are Microsoft's issue, not Dovetail's Sound issues were never ignored, they were acknowledged. It clearly isn't an easy fix or we would have it by now.
ViewApp's (developer of Tram Sim) YouTube videos describe the Console edition as a "complete package". Tram Sim currently has 3 DLCs for PC: E1, Depot and ULF. Only the latter two appear to be included in the Deluxe version (according to PSStore), with the E1 tram for Vienna appearing to be AWOL.
Can't wait for it. I'm riding on the Viennese trams almost every day as a passenger, so I'm keen on driving them virtually myself in a sim!
They've been advertising it on the TSW YouTube page and in the TSW3 Roadmap. Clearly it belongs in this forum then
I think I’ll give this one a try. Usually, I’m not too keen on light rail but the different driving experience intrigues me.
Today is the day! It has been released! And of course, I got it and now have been able to try it. And I like it! Just had time to try Vienna yet though, but it's great in my opinion. As a Viennese, I know the city very well of course and it's awesome that almost every Building and even small stores are as they are in real life! Top! Only the streets/pavements are quite "dead", this has nothing to do with real life in Vienna.
I’ve got it as well and my first impressions are mixed, but leaning on the positive side. The trams feel nice and I quite enjoyed the street running. Passengers actually boarding the trams is a welcome change compared to TSW as are the realistic door operations of just unlocking them. However, the devs clearly seem to have learned tutorials from DTG - barely anything feels properly explained. The lack of a zoom feature makes reading the in-cab labels almost impossible. The UI in general is rather unintuitive. The Zusi UI feels better organised than this. Still, I had a lovely time with it and can see myself spending lots more time with it as well.
But this seems to be a problem with the port to the console version because this week I was watching a lot of videos of the PC version and everything looked much busier with pedestrians and a lot more car traffic, so it felt more alive. In my opinion they've done a bit of a lazy job on the console port, especially for next-gen consoles. Lucky I didn't take the bait of the 10% pre-order discount. I may well buy it in the future but at a much bigger discount.
Maybe, haven't seen much of the PC-version, except of some pictures. Let's hope, there will be patches soon adressing this issue.
Viewapp developers would be responsible. Dtg are only publishing it, so viewapp wouldn't hire dtg employees.
