    About

The Trans-Siberian Railway, historically known as the Great Siberian Route and often shortened to Transsib. It is a large railway system that connects European Russia to the Russian Far East. Spanning a length of over 9,289 kilometres (5,772 miles), it is the longest railway line in the world. It runs from the city of Moscow in the west to the city of Vladivostok in the east.
I believe a section 50-100 miles would be good at either the eastern or western end.
(I know that with current situation it very unlikely going to happen)

Very nice proposal. Impressive landscape and rolling stock.

Always wanted that, but chances are zero.

About the only chance of this appearing is via a third party, probably within Russia.

Regardless of one’s views about the current fisticuffs between Russia and Ukraine, in the current political climate DTG are not going to touch anything Russian with one of our English barge poles. And sanctions plus travel restrictions and military security concerns mean zero chance of a field trip and access to the prototype. It’s still only a few months since Ukraine allegedly sabotaged the long tunnel and bridges on the BAM line.

If it is about international conflict law, we couldn't find never right country, that is completely within international law (1999, 2003...).

Too long and if you want a segment then go Ussuriysk to Vladivostok 141 km 88 mi. Oddly TE109 M62 if added as DLC locos here they count towards RT DCZ DRA former GDR 120 130-132 142 locos mileage achivements.

I don't think so. Because all of what you said after that quote also would apply to a third party project. I think DTG wouldn't even act as a publisher for russian related content at the current moment of time.

Interesting project, interesting locos. But I also think chances are zero that it will happen. If we had better capabilites for the PC Editor, there maybe could be found a russian developer who builds it and then releases it as freeware but other than that, no chances.

By the way, SCS Software did the same with ETS2. The release and development of the "Heart Of Russia" DLC is paused for the moment. There is just too much heat going on politically and independent of the political situation, companies don't want to burn their reputation nor finger with russia related stuff.

This is also why I consider any kind of isrealian content very unlikely to come at the moment and in the next future.

I don't think this route will happen anytime soon, because of the war in Ukraine.

I would love to see this route. Unfortunately it just won’t happen anytime soon.

You are correct even though there is a better option Ukraine uses the same stock as Russia therefore you can make this segment KkStb Bahnstrecke Premzyl Lemberg Lviv remember to operate both polish and Ukrainian trains. That includes using SUW2000 gauge changer at the Premzyl end

I don't think that an ukrainian route would be a lot less controversial at this current moment of time to be honest. And please not state something like "better option". I have a feeling we're not far away from a big explosion, just right here inside of this thread.

Would love to see some Soviet era rolling stock. Perhaps something from the other ex-Soviet states?
