Just a small idea, because the updated TRAXX locos (146.2 and 185.5) have good sounds. But the inverter sounds feels like that they are recorded from a keyboard synth, not a real locomotive. This doesn’t give the best experience of driving a train. This could be fixed by community though, but i haven’t even tried to make sound mods, becsuse it’s so hard work.

The traction motor sounds of 146.2 and 185.5 (BRD) are still using the same sound recordings that are used on the older versions. The major sound improvement on locos is the completely new soundscape in cabin, and new bogie sounds. (I mean sounds, that the bogies create when running over switches and track joints.) If the motor sound is based on real recordings, the driving experience would be even perfect. Hopefully you know my point now. (This may be a little difficult to explain.)
