This is my suggestion for the Trent Valley Line that runs from Rugby to Stafford via the northern WMR terminus of Lichfield Trent Valley.

    Route stats:
    Length - 51 miles (82km)
    Top line speed - 125mph (200km/h)
    Station count - 8
    Station list:

    Stafford
    Rugeley Trent Valley
    Lichfield Trent Valley
    Tamworth
    Polesworth
    Atherstone
    Nuneaton
    Rugby

    Rolling stock:
    - Class 221 AWC/CC 'Super Voyager'

    - Class 390/0 / Class 390/1 AWC 'Pendolino'

    Class 350/2 LNWR 'Desiro'

    Layers:

    - Class 323 WMR 'Hyper Networker' as AI at LTV
    - Class 47 HI IC railtour from Rugby to Stafford
    - Class 66 DRS (E2G) with container freight trains

    Services:

350 - Hourly semi-fast services calling at all stops except Polesworth (Polesworth is only served by a single daily northbound service)

390 + 221 - Regular express services between both ends

    DLCs:

    - Class 90 IC + BR Mk3 IC coaches (£11.99)

    Thanks for reading :)

Would like to see this route, although I would extend the suggestion to Crewe as this allows for the London Euston semi-fast services somewhere to terminate at (as opposed to handing off to an AI driver at Stafford) as well as giving more service patterns (such as driveable Birmingham to Liverpool stoppers) and longer duration express services.

Class 86 or 87 would be even better, with Class 304’s on the Trent Valley stoppers.
