The Trinity Railway Express (TRE) is a commuter rail service in the Dallas–Fort Worth metroplex, Texas, United States. It was established by an interlocal agreement between Dallas Area Rapid Transit (DART) and Trinity Metro. Each transit authority owns a 50% stake in the joint rail project and contractor Herzog Transit Services operates the line. The TRE began operating in December 1996. Route map: Their fleet consists of 7 F59PH locomotives, 2 F59PHI’s, 2 F40PH’s and 25 Bombardier bi-level coaches including cab cars F59PH #120 F59PHI #570 F40PH #130 BBL Cab Car #1005 Though it’s fairly small, I think it would be a great add on to TSW considering we haven’t seen any F59 units featured yet. I would’ve suggested GO Transit but they no longer have the sweet K5LA and mechanical bells on their F59’s, which is present on TRE units.
