Trouble Starting Scenarios Since Last Update.

Hi guys,

Since the last update I'm getting lots of error messages when loading scenarios from the hub saying: 'One or more services couldn't be loaded due to resource limitations, please reduce usage by selecting another formation'

Can anyone shed some light on this please?

You either don't have all DLCs for all train formations in the scenario or your memory (RAM) is about to explode. or it is something else

 

Thanks. I've subscribed to all the content, all the DLC's are there. RAM is fine as far as I can tell so I'm stumped.

 

I'm dealing with similar issues. In some scenarios, I got the same message as the opener of the thread. If I start those scenarios via the Creators Club, it shows a complete white wall around me instead of scenaries.

But also, in other scenarios, I have this "white wall" outside the station where i start (with no error message coming up). When I begin driving, I'm going into this "realy deep fog" and see nothing any more.

Other scenarios simply work.

but i also have not used creation scenario that much
only have a few and they do work

too bad this forum does not have a part
where you can save your hardware specs
in your profile details
so it is easy to see what everyone have for hardware
provided off course it people fill them in

 

Here are my hardware specs: Intel Core i5-12500H, NVIDIA Geforce RTX 4050 Laptop GPU, 16 GB RAM

 

i am not a laptop user so no expert on that
but i am sure there are community members
who have maybe a similar Laptop and have no problem

maybe adding another 16gb ram might help
just make sure you know the rules(requirements) on adding extra ram

 

Started the game today and the "fog" disappeared. Maybe just some temporaly graphic bug. The error message still shows up, but anyway I am able to play all the scenarios.

Maybe the problem is caused just by missing repaints.

 

I have the same issue on my PC when editing a scenario (Ryzen 5 5600G, GTX 1660 Ti, 32 GB RAM) but despite the error message, everything works fine.

 

The same here, some of the scenarios who used to work fine now screaming about not having enough resources.
I did not check if services are complete in the scenarios.

It's something I've never seen before and if I'm missing liveries, the game loads anyway without it so it's a weird one.

I'll verify and update etc and see what happens. Thanks for your help.

Because the fog dissapeared, I no longer invested in research. The scenarios are working for me despite the error message.

 

Not yet, I've not had chance to get back on TSW but I've verified and double checked everything so I might know later.

 

Well I've tried everything, verified all files etc. and still no change. I have noticed I only have the problem on scenarios that involve HST skins though. Will wait and see what DTG come back with.

 

You mention HST - do you have both the MML and GWE DLC? if you don't it could be the livery is made on the one you don't have - leading to the crash.

 

Hi, DTG have been in touch and are looking into the issue. So far they've said it's probably being caused by the online sharing hub not being compatible with formation designer. Which doesn't make sense as A, why aren't they compatible - that should be a basic requirement otherwise what's the point in creating shareable scenarios, and B, it's only a few scenarios with this problem unless they're using standard formations.

I've had a further response recently saying it shouldn't be possible to upload a scenario using a custom formation but it obviously is some how and I wonder why more people don't have the same problem.
