With no exceptions, in TS 2019 Quick Drive mode, trying to make a new consist or modify an existing one, the rolling stock inventory starts to load but after 2-3 seconds the error "0xC0...05 ACCESS VIOLATION comes out and the game is stopped. I can' remember when this problem arose. Did anyone experience the same problem? -is it something connected with the workshop routes ( I have deleted all)? -or with the video card driver? (video card NVIDIA GTX 1050) -would it be necessary to reinstall Train Simulator?
When you are doing your custom list if the game finds an error with one of the items of rolling stock it falls over. I don't know of a way round it as if you have some repaints or modified stock they could be causing the error Peter
I usually get it if I tried to change a scenario.. that means that scenario is no good anymore. My solution. Go to that scenario in "Build" Duplicate the consist on the next track... go into 'TimeTable' view take a screenshot of "Stations' and 'go via' etc delete the player consist drag and drop the entire new consist onto the track that was occupied by the 'P' train then from the screen shot make this the 'player' and add instructions ,,,, Save
SOLVED! I made a "clean install" of TS 2019 by uninstalling the game and deleting (after backup!) the Railworks folder and re-installing (download from Steam about 50 GB !) and now everything works. I have however to re-load all the non-steam content! But it is worth the effort! Renato
That seems to confirm my suggestion that it is one of your third party add-ons which caused the original problem. Peter
