I seem to have found my train sim for my PC.

I have had only one crash to desktop on Steam in the course of several runs and that happened at the end of one.

The app opens so much more quickly than TSW2 thru 4 and is only slow loading once i have selected what to drive.

It shows ETA ! Hurray !

But in free roam there is no compass to guide me at the end of a route ? I would take a compass over any other beta change. At Oxford, how do i know whch is East and which way is West ?

I have already purchased 3 more routes, even though they duplicate my TSW2 routes in TSW4 ... but now must decide if i really need a PS5 to replace my PS4 ....

The upgrade for my PC is almost the cost of an XBox/X and i might rather spend thos $$ on Classic content.

Wish i had known that Steam was a better alternative to the Windows XBox emulator ...

    Glad to be here ...

Consoles will never give you the full experience and addon / mod richness of a PC game.

Welcome, there is an enormous amount of really good third party stuff, much of it freeware, available for TSC.
