    • Your entry may be disqualified if it is deemed to not follow these rules. Please limit chat to only when absolutely necessary.
    • Competition closes at mid-day Friday (UK time). The winner will be chosen every Friday.
    • Winner's Prize: The winning screenshot will appear in the game as a loading screen for 1 week!
(Please Note since the new update which changes loading times we have decided to change it to 1 week)

In January of 2022, Amtrak, among other entities in the United States, began having trouble with the adverse weather of the season. As you can see here, issues have struck the famed Empire Builder, train number 7. Both of #7's locomotives have been stricken by mechanical failures, and a BNSF GEVO has had to be brought in to save the train. On top of that, the two broken down locomotives that were originally leading the train are two of Amtrak's new heritage units: 100, the Midnight Blue unit, and 160, the Dash 8 "Pepsi Can" Phase III unit. This is sure to go down as a rare sight for a railfan.

    Route: Montana Hi-Line
    Locos: ES44DC, P42DC

Double Class 42's, hired in just for the fun of it, are silhouetted against a gently rising sun on a stock move from Longsight to Kilmarnock, to store a damaged 323. They are seen crossing Carlisle Bridge coughing out a great amount of clag

Not prepared to start argueing on a screenshot thread. have deleted my initial post & ran the scenario on my other machine which does not have AP installed. actually prefer this clear sky shot with only exhaust fumes for cloud.
I look forward to viewing your screenshot contributions to this thread as you seem to like judging everyone elses.

In early BR days there were sometimes odd short formations with multiple brake vans. Here a Class 35 Hymek journeys along the West Somerset Railway route with some CAO brake vans (part of the BDO 60T unfitted bogie bolster wagon pack.)

It's just a tilt to the left.
And then a tilt to the right.

Let's do the train warp again.

It can't get a more unique move than that, huh? :D
