I've said this elsewhere but it's worth saying again....

You know what, it's a little bonus that will probably only be of interest to some but it's a lovely gesture. What with the 700 coming to compliment the route I have to say DTG have knocked it out of the park with this release. I know we like modding-it with our favourite creators but the basic package is still excellent.

If DTG spend the next few years giving existing routes this update and expand treatment I and a lot of the community will be delighted.

    Top work DTG.

Obligatory request: Driving a 700 from Brighton to Bedford, or a 707 from Charing Cross to Dartford and have the line connect with the Chatham line at Gravesend, well, either would be something wouldn't it?

Edit: The above was written prior to driving the 700. It looks like they got the office cleaners to do the sounds and physics. Shame as it's a very good-looking model.

This I think was probably a rare case, of one person doing it his own time :), the same person that did the EKR in his own time also did this lovely route that covers Bedford to Brighton :)

A shame this is ignored because of the discussion on the Class 700 going on... Thank you DTG Danny!

Pity they didn't test this before releasing as well.
QD on the EKR just after the first level crossing on the approach to the tunnel.
EDIT: Looks like it is an AP Track EP issue, apologies to all.

I tested it, and it was fine(I tested the quick drive myself :) ) do you have the ap track pack? I think that has changed scenery? Someone else mention it, I looked and the version I had was fine.

Ahhh. I only installed New Chatham last night and never thought about AP.
    I'll give it another try.

That is more than good enough for me,
I thought a clean fresh DLC install would not automatically call for AP EP additions until you re-loaded the Track pack etc?
Looking at the AP update log it has not been updated for the new Chatham Line.
Just wondering is the new Chatham Line using the track & scenery from my original Chatham Main Line DLC which would have had the Track EP installed?

It does however if you install a later version, the track pack doesn't only update files in the asset folder but adjusts scenery too in the route folder, say for terrain adjustments where their track is slightly lower. So it could be, they had the terrain from before the ekr was added :), the missing track however is a mystery to me.(it was all fine for me, sadly I can't double check the track pack right now, but I shall install it tomorrow to make sure)

    Thanks for that Danny, appreciated.
You live and learn, The track is not actually missing it is just buried under 50,000 tons of ballast, you can continue to drive through it no problem. As you say AP will need to update their pack to reflect the new Chatham Line plus EKR.
Must admit I was a bit miffed as I was looking forward to playing with the EKR bit.

Just checked my AP downloads. The track EP was updated yesterday. I am not at my PC so cannot check if it resolves the problem above.

    From Checking -
1 - I removed all files outside the .ap files in the route folder
Screenshot_Chatham Main Line - London Victoria to Dover + Ramsgate_51.19746-1.25131_12-00-00.jpg
2 - Then Re-installed the track pack that I had and this happened.
Screenshot_Chatham Main Line - London Victoria to Dover + Ramsgate_51.19854-1.25308_12-00-00.jpg
3 - Installed the update from AP, and it's been fixed :) (so you just need to re-download the trackpack :) ), doesn't need a picture - it's the same as 1 :)

Danny, you are a star, thanks for that.
Am just dying to build a little scenario for the EKR.
    Cheers

Not sure why? They should be 1920 by 1080. I posted them as thumbnails so you should be able to click on them to enlarge.

Ah, that’ll be why, I didn’t do that on my phone, as I usually post full size.
