TSC doesn't launch, it freezes at the small screen the one before the game goes full screen. (see attatched)
I removed absolutetly everything from it's folder and now it is reinstalled as vanilla. Still doesn't work.

    Any suggestions?

You might need to reinstall DirectX
Go to \steamapps\common\Steamworks Shared\_CommonRedist\DirectX\Jun2010 and run DXSETUP.exe as administrator.

If the game still won't start go to the Steam Client > Library > Train Simulator
Right Click > Properties > Local Files
and click on Verify Integrity of Game Files.

    ... or clear cache.
For me it happened once when I subscribed to a few workshop scenarios and it extracted them in such an unlucky way that it completely broke the crawler.

Here is hoping the update in two weeks is going to address that, too. Would be nice to forget about this once and for all.

Sometimes it freezes for a bit especially if you have other apps running such as a browser. I usually find bringing up Task Manager coaxes it into life.

Interesting, I can run lots of other processes while playing TSC, as it only uses a single core, leaving the rest to others, it's always doing its thing nicely. Have to add I have stripped down my Windows to only run really needed stuff. (No 3rd party AV, sytem optimizers, Adobe downloader bulls**t or anything like that).
