Same place, different angle. A chartered train with a Class 47 goes past the lovely viaduct on the Chatham Main Line.
I think you will find that this is a Castle Loco not a King. It has the wrong number for a King Class.
An LMS Stanier Black 5 works a steam excursion along the West Highland Extension route in the autumn of 2022. Apart from the high intensity headlight and possibly the headboard, this is "just like BR days".
It's the summer of 2022 and preserved Class 50, 50049 "Defiance", heads a rail tour along the Riviera Line. Apart from the carriage colours this could be "just like BR days".
Durham is a hive of BR activity, with a HST and Deltic passing each other, overlooked by the famous cathedral. Meanwhile, engineers attempt to repair a failed Class 37 in the sidings. Route: East Coast Main Line Loco: Class 43 HST, Class 55 Deltic, Class 37
Set in 2019, this scene could easily be the late 1980s or early 1990s in the time of British Rail. GWR's final HST set is seen here leaving Exeter St Davids on its tour of the network prior to withdrawal, having been repainted into the InterCity Executive livery. The early morning light and shadows made this a particularly pretty scene. Route: Riviera Line Loco: High Speed Train
Some lovely shots just like the BR Days, well done everyone. This weeks winner with Black 5 No.44871 on the West Highland is IronBladder, congratulations. Have a good week everyone Next Weeks Contest : https://forums.dovetailgames.com/threads/tsc-screenshot-contest-march-2023-week-10.65676/
Can we get this sorted DTG Jamie, I thought the moving of the contest to finish on Monday was supposed to make sure things like this didn't happen? Not necessarily blaming you, but it seems pointless running the contest if the winners don't get their prize in a timely manner.
