Hi all, I am having some technical issues with TSC that I'm hoping somebody has some good advice for.

A while ago I did a full delete and reinstall, went to boot it up and it got stuck on the launching window. Completely freezes the PC, I can Ctrl, alt, delete and open task manager but then when task manager opens I can't use it - the whole PC just locks up. So I uninstalled, deleted again, and reinstalled last night thinking maybe a 3rd party add-on accidentally corrupted something but I'm getting the exact same issue. DX12 experimental launcher didn't freeze the PC but the game was just stuck on desk top with the small launch window open forever. I shut that with the task manager and launched 64-bit normal and the PC froze up again.

I've tried troubleshooting per online advice so far and have found the game hasn't even loaded as far as creating the Playerprofiles.bin file.

Have you got any workshop mods? They might be corrupting the install. This is also a lot harder to diagnose considering having a fresh install is the best way. Also, when you reinstall, make sure to delete the Railworks folder from C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common (or something similar) just to make sure that there is not anything sabotaging your install.

I unsubscribed from all my workshop addons but after the install, I am considering another fresh install just to be on the safe side.

After some digging it turns out Occulus had dumped 350K+ files in my C drive which was crashing it under demand. TSC now starts up bueno.
