I dont know if i am the only person who got this, but TSG BR 425 EMU has no Wheelslip, maybe its a problem from game or from the developer and i want to ask if you have the same thing, no Wheelslip
Haven't noticed that but battery on/off switch does not work since the update. Can't use the 425 from a cold start. I suppose if I can't start the train then wheel slip won't be an issue. Might take months of playing to find out what other addons are broken. Did TSC really need an update when TSW has all the fancy graphics you could want. Personally I enjoyed TSC the way it was.
Good job you kept a complete install separate from your Steam install like I did then.... In fact I have 3 running versions (not including full backups off PC) Steam install in the usual common library on my D:\ drive SSD (I only use this as a landing zone for any updates or new DLC from Steam, any new stuff is copied over to my playing install) A Railworks folder on a separate E:\ drive SSD that includes the complete AP catalogue + all the ATS catalogue and the majority of the JT catalogue (bought directly from site will not buy JT on Steam) and all freeware community mod content And now a Railworks_2 (clone of the prior mentioned full install) which has had the updated core added to it (and a re-install of all relevant affected AP content)
I had a complete basic TSC no add on back up on an external drive and copied the plug in folder and all the files stating below the last folder, basically all the dll's, exe files and everything else, into my TSC folder and it fixed the battery on/off issue on the BR 425. Hopefully it has fixed any other thing that the update (Beta) has broken. Of course testing may find other unintentional issues. Kept a copy of the updated files just in case but for now I think I will keep it the way it is.
Yes, but now it causes issues where before this update I had none. Spent the last few days trying to get things fixed that were not broken before. Hardly my idea of fun. Still not convinced my "fix" will get it back to where it was. And with a Railworks folder of 1.25TB, you may see my reluctance to have to start from scratch again. Very rarely got OOM issues on 64 bit and I played some really resource intensive scenarios. I have TSW3 but play TSC more because it is more add on friendly, more customizable and more fun.
