Hello all,,I Just wanted to give some news on the Class 801/2 “Warrior” fictional LNER livery released for yesterday’s Remembrance Day. Unfortunately as I have pointed out in my last post the issues and it’s definitely taught me a lesson. I’d like to quickly mention this will be short as my Son is on parade as he serves within the local see cadets and due back out. Okay the design was slimmed down my fault in leaving it down to the last minute due to complete what I planned. I overestimated the work involved and I’d definitely need a good week or two if I wanted to really deliver without restricting my self with time and last minute decisions. Yet looking over the livery again in more detail the lines of the Class 66 thought I’d leave it simple not overload it as when trying with hand LNER letters on testing it just didn’t look right to the eye to heavy on a modern steam lined unit. And was to over powering and a little out of tune with the overall design. Taking all into consideration I added the added support message on the side as originally planned but left out many other features again not to overload the livery make it to cluttered or clumsy. I wanted a smart clean elegant look so changed the LNER letters to more original modern style. A kind of business class look too it. I hope I’ve achieved this and looking back now not to bad for my first attempt on what does look easy but when you get down to the details across all coaches time soon disappears. Talking of disappearing I thought I had decals placed but then they went missing,,,I was back and too doubtful of what had what and at one point thought I was going mad because I was convinced I was repeating work over and over. So yes not to bad to be fair for a rushed project I’d say has turned out to what I envisioned as soon as I had that moment of clarity. So I think I’ve said enough I’ll leave you with a few pictures of the now fully completed livery. This weekend and livery is dedicated to these young men that went to fight in one of the worst bloody conflicts in history on the battlefield. Many never returned. Never Forget. REMEMBER THEM. Thank you. (TSLP)
Evening all. I just wanted to try get back to my plans with work that was due out on Friday. Main one being 66 511 “Guy Fawkes” in a different version of one on currently. It’s also a test livery with a new design of company logos. And I also feel it’s the season for a bit of dirt. Now ever since I seen 66 301 “Kingmoore TMD” up at the depot all dirty I always wanted to recreate a fully dirty loco. So going forward and with this quick weather layers applied to this livery I will be doing a batch of liveries with dirt as the theme but this will be a time consuming process due the nature of new weathering I’ve been testing and playing with gone are the days of using grading decals and is NOT applied on 66 511. The old process with the gradient decals works to poor in the lighting and I could get away with it on TSW2 and TSW3 but it’s just not happening on TSW4. So a more intensive approach on weathering is needed now and will be hard due the amount needed to weather and also complete the livery it’s self so it will be a select number of locos or liveries with different level of weathering. So yes just a little post about a livery I don’t want people think I forgot about with all that’s been going on. I haven’t forgotten and I’ll get back on track soon A few pictures with the last livery being the one that wanted me to always want to add some form of a weathered look. This was done on TSW2 and I think still needs a file look at yet still speaking with DTG on these matters regarding my old work. Well that’s it bye for now. Lee.
Hi,,sure of course you can. If its the Class 801/2 your after that’s already up on CC. Anything like the class 66’s they will released later on today. Thank you for paying interest and if there’s anything your looking for in particularly then please let me know Cheers. Lee.
Sorry man just came through now. Thank you so much for your kind remarks,,,this will definitely give me a much needed lift. Thank you. Lee.
Hello folk. Sorry been a while,,,been busy as per with this new project on bring some old LNER colours and names back to modern rail and more so after falling in love with this class of EMU and after getting all the information needed about all sets. Thanks Now “Warrior” was meant to be a one of for now as I wanted to work on the New Blackpool DLC,,but the simplicity of the editing is not for me on this one as I personally prefer the art work and more demanding projects by adding touch of class. So I will be running with this new A4 Heritage Class of 801 and 801/2 as I am really excited about this project as I must say I personally feel they look right and will add a little class and variety to the ECML for those looking. This livery will hopefully be available later today so keep your eyes peeled folks. I’ll do a more extensive review of the process on this livery as each one will be slightly different so I can push the lines of the design as I would like to keep some form of the flow lines and shape of the nose like the Class 43 HST sets this Class has now replaced. And again add some variation for users. So here are the final results of Set 801 219 “Bittern” In LNER Garter Blue,,with Hand Painted design lettering. Bye for now.
Evening all,,As Mentioned here is some information regarding the design for the overall look and thoughts the process behind it 801 219 “Bittern” I may even give one or tips away during this during my more time with my second 801/2 livery. Now as you know I am not what you call a full train enthusiast as such yet I’ve had some experience when young around trains so has left me with soft spot for them. So with this I have some background knowledge of locomotives etc,,but a lot I have to pick up from new as was the case with this Class 801/2. Now I won’t explain the details around my first livery for the Class 801/2 as I feel I’ve said enough and to be honest was late on the decision making for my Remembrance Day loco options. Now a few days have passed I’ve been able to get the information needed from my sources and done my home work on the Class 801/2. I’ve also been able to let’s say get more intimate with the model on the editing side so now I have more of an understanding of what can and can’t be done,,,but having 9000 decals is something I’m look to aim for so if I go quiet for a while you know why lol. So with all this the 801/2 made going forward should and will be the best I can develop without nasty silly mistakes during the decal’s application. Okay so the design process of 801 219 “Bittern” in Garter Blue. The start of the A4 Streamliner Heritage Project. During my time making “Warrior” I was aware of the A4 Pacific’s and some there workings. Now I won’t go into history as I’m sure people know and I’d just like to explore more of the creative side and development of this livery and project itself. My mind was flooded with ideas on how to achieve what I am looking for by fitting the lines and design of the unit it self. There are many key features lines to take a cue from and work with this. I also want to convey a sense of speed with a sleek classic design. I hope I’ve accomplish this in the design as to make it look sleek I’ve drawn the black more forward to fit the line of the front end and took it away from the end to give it a more slender look. Many designs are tailored and took into consideration the break of the flow lines. As was the case with “Warrior” around the doors I fitted the design to suit the lines from the bottom of the lower doors,,but doing this made the units look stubby and short. But as you can see with 801 219 “Bittern” more sleek less break up line. I have used a hard white colour tho which will do just this break up the lines but I’ve added gradient decals over the white and red lines under so again give the sense of speed and is a nice touch to bring it together. Also a change from “Warrior” is in that I’ve stuck to some of what the original red and white LNER livery has along the window line but this time I’ve gone for a more traditional LNER hand writing style design. As with Warrior the hand writing style would be to heavy and unbalanced the whole look especially with the added lettering below. Plus sometimes I’ll design these with cost in mind so if a real company was to implement them they possibly could be done simply and cost effective. So I kept the letters simple on Warrior. Yet on 801 219 “Bittern it has hand written letters. BELOW, balance and line up testing. The reason for change was to simply add that blend of old and new but again there heavy letters and take more space up so can unsettle the balance while still trying to keeping to other key design lines. On this is to be central to the window line and within the upper and lower lining. And also keep with Warrior and just have it just above first driver door handle recess. All this has to be taken in to consideration when take cue for first key design line and work with spacing and levels out from there. Colour. Now I wanted to go over the colour a little more as a bit of research was done on this to get some form of a historical reference as I have found with many reputable sources they can be wrong. So looking at pictures on Google has not been done for this reason nor has been my source of information when choosing a few liveries colour scheme. The Colour Scheme for this livery is Garter blue even tho some are seen in the Darker Coronation Blue,,,I’ve tried to keep to the original shade the original locomotive would have been seen in. Again testing has been done in different lighting settings to get a right match without wandering from the original colour as can and sometime be the case if just sticking to say one time. I endeavour to get this right and why many hours are spent on this side as the colours need to be correct in all shades be light or dark. So yes like I say I wish I had more time but this is long enough I think and I thank anyone who taken the time to read these comments. Thank you and I hope you enjoy Set 801 219 Units 821219 to 829219 “Bittern” in fictional Garter Blue A4 Streamlined Heritage Livery. Lee. Right where’s my silver paint????.
Hello Folks firstly want to give an apology to anyone looking for information ref to my latest up loads on CC. These being TSLP154 Set 801 214 “SILVER LINK” and TSLP159 (Was TSLP150) Set 801 219 “BITTERN” and for not posting for a while in general. Has it really been that long I ask my self I guess so. The time has flown passed just as fast as these A4 Pacific’s once did on there first introduction back in 1935. So this is just a quick post as I just need a few minutes to get my act together as it’s been such a whirlwind as I’d also taken a few hours out yesterday for a evening celebrating a birthday. (Not mine just before you all send me birthday wishes and kisses,,,no at my age birthdays are more like celebrating getting closer to death day lol.) I’ll have more information soon as like it always is with me it’s never a five minute explanation or Job. I’d just like to get it right for again I’ve noticed silly errors in my work. So I’ll will be updating about these and the changes in due course. So a quick brew and I’ll be back in five.
Hello,,,right folks sorry about all that. Okay well I’ll give a brief overview for those directed from CC and here for more information in a nut shell. For those wanting a little more background information then a separate post is available and to simplify this post is ref too the following a few changes since release, and would like to provide information for those who may have already subscribed. PLEASE NOTE: YOU MAY HAVE TO RE SUBSCRIBE IF SELECTED BEFORE TODAYS UPDATE. Release AND Update information of PBD Set 801 219 “BITTERN” in Garter Blue. Photo of updated version with New Red Name Plate and Added A4 Heritage decals. The livery is based on Sir Nigel Gresley A4 Pacific Class 4 6 2 designed for high speed running in the mid 1930s. With Bittern being one of that class built in 1937 as No 4464 in LNER Garter Blue with thin red and white lining. I have also changed the name plate due to an over sight on my part and was down to depot location error. These are the main fixes others being the addition of the A4 Heritage brand, weathering to unit ends and decals added to underside to cancel out door decal under the floor. Also removed again as I was sure it was fixed first time on checking is the numbers on number B end. So yes just some basic reading with further reading available in the first post regarding 801 214 development process. Sorry for any inconveniences caused but I wanted to rectify those issues as I feel it let the livery down and what users come to expect from the work produced here. Thank you for your time reading and choosing 801 219 “BITTERN” I hope it brings fun and adds colour and class to what I feel is sometimes a boring dull back drop . Thank you. Any Issues or suggestions on ideas or what could be done better then please comment. I appreciate the feedback so I can better my work and provide what users may want seen in the Train Sim World. Lee. (TSLP)
Hello again right we’ll on to the next one with again just some basic information as more background information will be available in this post if you’re interested in further reading and details on this 801 214 “SILVER LINK”. Release Information of PBD Set 801 214 “SILVER LINK” in The Silver Jubilee livery first applied to Silver link for a demonstration run in 1935 where already mentioned hit a speed of 112mph and to mark 25 years of King George V. Is part of my A4 Streamline Heritage Class Project along with “Warrior” (For Remembrance Day) and Set 801 219 “BITTERN”. They will all look slight different by working with different styles and to suit different testes and to meet the requirements set out in the project outline. As you will see with this livery and design differences is mainly down to taking and working with the cue line of the A4 it’s self by taking the line from the nose right back like the sheeting applied over the wheels for better air flow distribution. I’ve also added a full hand written style lettering across all sides and used information based on the paint used on the original locomotives as working from modern reference including models I found a few historical inconsistencies so not to actually standard of the original shade. IE if working or models of pics then the livery would appear white. It is not white or so pale in colour so with this I hope I have achieved a right match for those who know the score. Garter Blue is also used as this I believe to be correct working of FAS Brown books. Hand painted style writing in Garter Blue and Chromium. So yes a little information about the release of set 801 214 “SILVER LINK” I hope you enjoy. Have fun. Thank you. Lee (TSLP)
Morning folks or afternoon by the times this is finished. I would just like to say a big thank you to all that has liked my worked on here and on other post as I have noticed yet may have not responded sooner so please accept my apologies. Personally this I’d just like you to know the support really makes a difference due to my condition. Sometimes I know by me mentioning my anxieties and low moods etc can be a distraction or hard reading for this is not a place for personal discussions or to make the conversation dark or depressing. This is not my intention but a way for me to try out line or explain that just responding to comments or even participating with others in the community is not down to rudeness or ignorance but the sheer fright of it all. And even by doing this or ever posting anything can be a nervous and sickening experience over something a normal person wouldn’t give two thoughts about. I am also aware of the stigma associated with mental illness which personally believe this stigma holds some people back that may suffer in some form or another. It most certainly holds me back and has done all my life. But for once in my life I didn’t want those issues get in the way of my passion for making liveries on TSW get in the way as again silly as this sounds but for me right now it’s all I have. Again this is not to make this hard to read but explain why I do have so much passion for something some may say well it’s only a game. Yes it is but after Covid destroyed all what I had left then today TSW and liveries is all I have. So this is why I’d personally want to say thank you to all that has supported and liked my work. I don’t expect the community to blow smoke up my arse,,,that’s never my intention or thoughts even tho I come across as so. My condition has a bearing on my attitude at times and so by trying explaining why it may seem as so because as always with mental health social media can have more of a negative impact than a positive one. I don’t want that to be the case or get in the way of my work. I’d like to be part of the wider community but I hide in my little corner,,,I feel safer that way, under my Little Rock. So again a big thank you to all and to the community I know maybe I should get involved with others more. Don’t worry this is not a cry for help or nothing just to show my appreciation to those so kind enough to read over my comments and work. Thank you. Lee (TSLP).
Right folk after my last post I’d like to try cheer the mood up. By showing you the scrapped projects or lost work,,,lol. What a great way a?. Yep I done work around 2018 before joining CC back in I think 2021. So you could say I’ve been at this for 4 years long before joining CC. See that was my anxiety about getting involved. So the next few pictures on separate post as they may be a few are those sadly lost or I gave up trying to post with anxiety fears after first posting refusal. So with that I hope you like a few. A lot was also lost during the save issues problem on TSW2 so only a few was then made again and keep to a select few to save on space. Hence why you never seen a lot of EMU or DMU from me in the early days and only recently with the introduction of the A4 Streamline Heritage project work with the Class 801/2 have I really ventured out in to that market. This is due to the increased number of decals available and save space not being an issue. So yep hope you enjoy my screenshots of my scrapped or lost files liveries.
These next two projects I was quite found of. The first a blend of UK liveries on a French network set with a blend of 80s 90s with a slightly modified design to fit the look of the units it was placed on. And then again long before the A4 project I was playing around with the A4 design on again a French TGV set. The first was lost in save issues and the second project as first test up load was rejected so I never pursued the project past that point and so like I mentioned am I only again getting back into the longer project with the Class 801/2 sets. I may even introduce my passenger livery soon,,,it’s been on the cards for a long time. Maybe I’ll dust of the blue prints today. I was adding city names in French. One was “Ville de Paris” and the one was “Ville de Reims” was this offensive or rude by placing French names on a British design?. What ever the case it never got passed CC.
Continued. All work seen was my early days of setting off and playing around as beginner on TSW editing so will be a few mistakes. But it’s always interesting to look back on for my own reference and share the procession of what work can look like as a beginner to say the standard and complexity of work done now with years of experience gained. I hope you liked a few and if anyone is curious or interested then I may look at really really looking at the blue prints. Bye for now folks. Lee. (TSLP)
Hi folk,,,just a quick post if I can ever manage one that is. So straight to the point. Had issue with my email so has an effect on my DTL account. This may effect users and could add a lot of time to correct. This is will give me no time to produce any more work possibly in the future I just not sure at this point. Why I’ve backed off a bit with out put of work. I need some time to think and as I was in contact with DTG support but at this moment in time seems a dead end again but I will endeavour to try sort this out as I have pointed out the implications it will have on users of my work on DTG platform and it’s users. Does DTG want me to pull my work to set up a new account just so I can replace it back up in order to work on old liveries and DLCs of TSW2/3 on TSW4? Or even port work over from title to title. Never mind all the progress on mastery will be lost. So yes I just want to give a little update and not go into it that much as I need to think and take stock of the situation. But at this point it’s seems DTG don’t care about me as a user or users of creators work in general if they ever run into problems. All this because of a stupid email account lost,,,and yes you could that is my fault and your correct,,but I was trying to think about you the users of my work if I have to be messing around again with accounts I want to try limit the impact or cause any great inconvenience to those users. It makes me look bad and I was reaching out to DTG for any assistance or advice,,,,and the response just seems like they think I am a beginner and probably just a basic beginner problem about porting profiles. It’s not. It’s a problem that effects TSW users and as much as I am trying to take responsibility for my work are DTG going to help out take responsibility for creators club users. I see this issue as not only effecting me but more importantly you the users of TSLP work on a DTG title. Surly a better relationship between the two and work towards a better solution than just yes deleting your work. I can’t do that again. So if DTG want to know who I am and see authenticity of who I say am then here is a list of all liveries up on CC give and take a few class 52’s and all that are mothballed or in development stages. Here’s what I may have to deal with. ……..
Continued….. A lot of work a lot of time and really is a daunting task. This is not a rant but trying to point out to DTG the problem and explain the effects it can and will have on users. I don’t want that upset from me or for my users so I am asking can something be done DTG?. I only have the one chance of correcting work from years passed and getting my hands on my own work for use,,I have one shot and I want to get it right so again why I was seeking advice and assistance. Not a sorry mate,,,now’t we can do,,,just start from scratch and set up new email and DTL account. What about the USERS?. Does anyone care?. Sorry to anyone that reads I don’t like being like this but seriously my frustration with DTG at times is unbearable. Just seems anyone that puts time or dedication into TSW be that driving and having faults or making scenarios and having faults. Loss of profile progress between titles the whole time consuming methods user have to do in order to a profile or creations. On the face of it all the maybe smiles yes but behind the scenes they brush users issues or faults under the carpet and seems no real willingness to be honest and helpful to fans that spent time and money on DTG products. What is the point,,,if it feels like an up hill struggle all the time. Again sorry folks. I am just proper gutted. Lee.
Mmmmmm right we’ll a quick update as I feel it’s only fair after sort of having a pop at DTG. It looks like the whole situation in away has sorted it’s self or seems a lot better than it was on the on set of old DLCs not working and all the new updates which I was aware of but just never really looked due to time flying by on getting carried away making newer liveries. So to be fair to DTG they fixed that issue that was effecting not only me but others and my frustration track of my own work and what was what with the original release of TSW4 and the delay on being able to have or work on old DLCs. So maybe a slight apology from my side to DTG is needed as okay I don’t expect them to jump through hoops but have some understanding of the situation and if anything could have been done from there end. My little moods also got in the way as looking now I may have a way of sorting it all out. (WITH NO DELETION). Just as long as if I do upload to adjust from TSW4 on a old TSW2 DLC they work or are backwards compatible. Yet in saying this they are all the same models in some form of fashion so if that is the case then you could say what’s the moaning about fixes for older titles been all about if something on old titles is improving. So yes just want to say sorry DTG my stupid moods get the better of me but now I am on a level keel then it’s off to work then to put right a problem that’s been a pain in my arse since mid 2021. I may even do a little thread catalog so I and user’s know what is what as it may all be to much in one place on this thread. Bye for now folks. Lee (TSLP).
Hello folks here is Information regarding my latest release of GWR 5 Car Set 800 004 Units 811 004 to 815 004 (TSLP158) So with this livery I was messing around looking at different options on what worked and didn’t for a little project I was going to start on with GWR liveries but that project was more suited to the west coast main line than the Great western line. Now as some of you will know Isambard Kingdom Brunel is someone I greatly admire so I was obviously aware of 800 004 Set and thought why not give it a go away from my A4 Streamline Heritage livery project. Now I believe the livery had more of a white under testing due to Hitachi being involved with several differences in hight of decals and of decal to the livery seen later on. So with this in mind I was struggling to get accurate information the way I wanted so to the trained eye they be one or two things wrong and if that is the case please let me know so I can rectify this for user’s enjoyment. As I was going to do the first livery with all the 4 companies on the leading end and trailing end units,,but due to number of decals needed it was not possible to complete to a high standard of acceptance. As with all my work it is done on PS5 by hand with no mods ever used or needed for my work. I personally feel using mods on consoles is being lazy as work can be done with skill and effort to achieve what you desire using what DTG have given. It’s a test of skill yet on PC then yes mods work better due to the complexity of work being done on routes etc and models. It’s more rewarding I feel not using mods and also users may run into less difficulty staying away from mods if on a simple console. Development pictures of number and letters work. As you can see using decals over mods means more work and more decals needed so does have an impact on what can and can’t be done but I will push for the best level of accuracy as I am sure you want a complete looking livery with nothing missing like hand rails and door surrounds,,I know I do. So why I pay a lot of attention to this area in getting the right level of detail and I hope I have achieved this on 800 004 for user’s satisfaction and my own. A day went into testing for the colour as with the colour a Dark Green Blue Shade I wanted to try get that level of blue pigmentation or hue in the right light so will appear different I’m changing environments like under artificial light than natural light. It should bring the blue out even tho the train appears dark in colour. The reason for this again trying to get the right level of contrast in all lights to remain within the real shade of the units and not make it to bright as it can make the units look like toys. Please continue on next post for colour test shots. Max 5 pictures on here you see.
Hello,,,,colour testing. The last picture I liked the colour but used larger amounts of area it looked to bright weak and washed out. So I hope I made the right decision and please if the shade is off then please comment and be critical about my work as much as I am. One or two things I’d like to point out is ref to the seating plan numbers as I had to make them up as I went by looking at GWR 5 Car seating plans because again I couldn’t get information directly so had to try find another way of supplying that information on the decals for the relevant units. I couldn’t leave them blank as that would be lazy of me yet saying that I hope they work and look right or it would be a waste. I also just want to say sorry for short description on CC as I was due out but wanted it done after a week of grinding away so users could have it for over the weekend and I’ll have to admit took it out of my hand again I was even struggling to write that description due to my hand locking up. But it was worth it in the end and I really hope you enjoy Set 800 004 Unit 811 004 “Isambard Kingdom Brunel” to 815 “Sir Daniel Gooch” and if anyone is interested in these GWR liveries on these units then please let me know as 800 003 is in the pipe line to run along side 800 004 and may want to see another set added to the already planned 2 to 3 GWR livery sets. Thank you for your time in reading and until next time have fun folks. Lee (TSLP)
Hi folk sorry for being quiet or not responding,,,I’m having one of those weeks. Hopefully I’ll be good soon. To anyone that’s commented please except my apology. Lee.
Hello folks,,,well been awhile since I’ve posted from here. Been busy with other projects and just life in general. Today I just wanted to place some information on the changes to 60163 “TORNADO”. I’ve made a few changes to what was my first A3 livery uploaded. So looking back now it wasn’t the best and like in the description on CC is well over due its update. Re Worked Name Plate. Now I wanted to work on this as I am aware that the name may not show very well in light conditions. But due to the Brass or Polished Brass finish look on the fitted name plate it’s self the colour would be like a rose gold for the letters to match the loco plate already fitted. I’ve tried to darken the blue so the brass or rose gold letters are more defined with darker letters placed behind the first. Due to the small size they did start to blur slightly. So with the name plate I’ve tried to remain true to the colour of the original brass plate fitted and keep to the blue the best I can,,the result or not ideal but due to the factors mentioned then colours can’t really be darkened that much as it distract from the rest that can’t be changed. Re Lining and setting Numbers and Lettering. The letters and numbers I’ve done with a mix of standard fonts and shapes. As these are thin lined in black so been made this way to get the right look for the letters. Even tho in light conditions this will be noticeable it does have a job in splitting the crème letters against the green. They have also been rebalanced to try fit the A3 and the tenders as again it’s an A1 Peppercorn livery placed on the A3. So attention has been paid to this area to get the look of the A1 the best I can. This includes the lining around the cab and tender I’ve done the best I can to get a good balance between the two. There are few more changes too like new lining on the maintenance gang way above the wheels new lining added to the buffers and also left the red as it is. This is buffer beam red,,not signal red or Vermillion. These colours are important due to different usage in different regions and eras. The Apple Green used to is done in a fresh look. As many worry about shades but we forget including myself at times many factors effect the appearance of colour. Age of paint application,,,the depot mixing process. Weathering and then if working of photos than atmospheric conditions effect that. Plus the film used and the old development process used. So again with my work,,,trying to work to BS code and Ral codes the best I can is very important to get the right match without the worry of wrong shades from photos. So I hope you enjoy the changes and 60163 “TORNADO” after this much needed update. I really am happy with this work so really I hope it bring you as much joy as it does me. They really are great looking locos and my appreciation of engineering in general I have great respect for the men that designed them the men that built them and the brave men that raced up and down the English countryside without modern day tech. I do most of my driving with nothing on screen and my life at night and in bad weather you can see s%#t. How did they do it,,they where truly brave men. Respect. And to the Tornado Preservation Society for bringing a lost piece of history back to the networks. I hope I’ve represented your loco to the standard it should have been for the start. Have fun folk. Bye for now. Lee (TSLP).
You're doing fantastic work there, and please do yourself and us a favour: there is no need to apologize! Keep up the great work mate!
Hello can I just say I love the profile picture. A Monty Python fan myself and John Cleese as Basil in Fawlty Towers. And bicycle repair man has come to my aid many times in my youth of riding bikes. Lol. I was even considering joining the ministry of silly walk but due to government cut backs unfortunately I couldn’t go. A shame with government backing I could have done one. Yet saying that I’m glad they banned the Unknown Joke at the Geneva Convention in 1950. Thankfully it now rest in under a monument that simply reads. “To the Unknown Joke”. Hehe. So moving swiftly on. I get where your coming from,,,I’ve always been like that and it can be seen as a weakness. I think I’ve mentioned in another post somewhere my own personal issue don’t help either so again I’m aware of this. My work can also suffer which don’t like it all. I don’t say any of this with hate or owt. I’m not like that,,,and appreciate what your saying. I Thank you for what you say. And I am sorry for being like that (Just Kidding). I take it on board. Right well you got me in the mood for some Fawlty Towers. Either that or Rising Damp. Or Even Better Some Mother's Do Ave Em. I now feel like “I’m A Man” Frank Spencer. Cheers man. Enjoy the rest of your weekend. Lee (TSLP).
Enjoy Life I was reading your posts and was thinking of my own time in school, always drawing stuff in my books (caricatures and my own car designs), I'm having a light Asperger syndrome.
Hello again,,,,thanks for the gif the other picture didn’t show,,,lol. Great Stuff,,,it’s a shame they don’t make them like they used too. TV’s Crap these days,,,so to enjoy life more I have all those classic still on DVD. As you mention (ASD) and school then I think we had the same interest but what ever that early condition was in my childhood wasn’t properly diagnosed back then by child behaviour specialist. I had to go special school,,as I couldn’t mix nor learn. Leaning difficulties was and still is an issue. I had to write Bed as I kept getting B and D mixed up. Couldn’t look anyone in the eye or mix well. Still an issue and why I choose to be alone. After Covid I think it’s compounded some of the underlying issues as it’s got worse as you can by the way I act or respond on here. Can’t remember,,,and I will not go out. So I don’t want you think I’m being to personal or to open but I just want you to know I understand. Yes it something not every one will be conscious of,,,why would they. And why I am the way I am,,,I’ve allowed this Black Dog to win many times where I’ve not followed through with my goals or dream. Some time I have him on a leash but more often than not he breaks free. Sadly it’s a fact of life it never gone away nor feel it never will. But hopefully by being open and honest which is a risk. People don’t want to know about me. Everyone has problems we are not aware of,,,I think it the problem I’ve always had in wanting to be just like everyone else and be accepted so in my mind I think if people understand the condition then they may understand or find me. And that’s the problem right there. People being aware that only only because you can’t see a wound or injury doesn’t mean there is nothing wrong inside. I don’t want it to define me,,,I don’t want it to rule my life or hold me back no more either. For once in my life I’m doing things on here that I would never dream of. I’m trying to over come the best I can. All the lost work of writing comings,,,music,,,art work designs I did as a child. The ideas I had way before others did,,,like I’m not saying I invented the concept of reusable space flight when I say this but when I was in engineering school I designed and developed a space craft which at that time around mid 90s as a kid I didn’t know about the Skunk works yet I did develop a concept for a engine that would not use conventional parts,,,basically a scram jet. And I must have known what I was doing or what I had as looking back at todays space mission and technology then I was on the right lines at the age of 17. My teachers knew I was good but my fears and troubles stop me going anywhere in life. My other passion like you was drawing,,,I the amount of time I got into trouble in French lessons. Mr Yardley was the French teachers name,,,poor fella gave up and ended up just letting me draw with my other two mates. Put it still never got me anywhere because I never applied those skills or passions. And Why you can see where maybe my passion comes from and determination to do something I’ve always loved for once with out letting it pass by. I was as you’ve pulled me up going to be apologetic again but I said I wouldn’t so I won’t. I know this isn’t what people are here for,,,but hopefully it may help others come forward and be able to share their passion without feeling they can’t. (Noting to do with this site or community). Just life struggles that until now has most certainly stop me doing something I’ve always wanted to do with my heart and not just settle. To Drift through live. I want to try my best to get passed all of this and be open,,supportive and generally more involved with others. To share and talk about trains and creative ideas and designs we all love and why we are here. You never know we may end up talking about a subject that gets to turned into a project or something. I hope so as it would be interesting to see what you doodled all these years back. The dreams of a young child we lost sight of as we grew older. I hope that is it’s never to late to change that Just don’t get to pissed with the knights of the round table and just watch out for the white rabbit. Don’t forget ya coconuts. Hi folks. Well not long now till 2023 has passed by and we enter in a New Year. So if I may I’d just like to share some thoughts before moving on a fresh in 2024. I would like to thank all those that have supported me over the last few months even tho I’m an arse at times. As I say I don’t mean to be this way these last few months yet I’ve learned at lot and I will try find some balance between moods. I’d also like to apologise to any one that may have read many of my unnecessary thoughts and opinions as they too come out In between mood and are my little Demons that I’m sure many have at some point in ones life. We all have challenges and challenges we need be good or bad they exist for a reason life is hard but without overcoming those challenges we will never find greatness. Nor never define ourselves without walking that path of life. The War is never done yet as each battle is fought and won in time we may find Peace. So I was gonna brush up some things on work and liveries but found myself getting all sentimental about things. But what ever 2024 brings and what ever challenges that happens to await us be sure that with strength and ambition we can achieve our goals gain in strength and to be there for each other. Because right now we may feel unfortunate they haven’t got enough, some may even feel lucky and we should for we have a roof over our head and a country we can feel relatively safe in. At this time of year I can’t help but think about there those that have no life. Not even the simplest of things. So wether it be helping on TSW or being a better person in general I hopes that in time maybe we all can share the battles win the War and find Peace for all. The ones that having nothing and are sadly being forgotten. Let 2024 be a time of change for the better in every challenge we face. For ourselves and each other together as one. Thank you DTG and to all Members of DTL forum,,,especially those whom closely supported my work. All the Best to you all in 2024. Have a Happy New Year everyone. Many Kind Wishes. Lee (TSLP).
Hi Folks. I’m going to make this short and sweet as I’m not in a very good state of mind and I feel by continuing with the constant issues with DTG messaging around with them I even contacted DTG Matt directly over issue of him blanking work and doesn’t even have the manners to respond. As you know I have tried my best to fit in but my mental health can’t take this no more from DTG. I’m sure you can do with out me so. It is last from me. I’ve said it so many time but I tried my best to over come. And now all this. Today come to testing a TGV livery in free roam and nothing. I knew something was up and so checked my HST livery DTG was involved in replacing the work with a GWE livery. In fact nar I’m done you won DTG. Ask them for assistance or if there is anything I’ve done wrong. Ask for help from them. And all I get is this and my mental health is shot. DONE,
