Tsw 2 Accidentally Confirmed In Editor Premier?

I was watching the editor premier back and saw in the top TS2 prototype am I correct in saying it was tsw2 prototype featured there?

 

TSW (1) is named TS2-Prototype because they for some reason I forgot didnt change the name when they came up with the final name for the product.
Its 2 in the meaning of beeing their new train simulator.
It has nothing to do with TSW 2

 

I get that but this was in 2019, the premiere, when TSW was already out and I'm not sure but it also says UE4 release possibly unreal engine 4 which I think is what is possibly running tsw 2. But thinking about it it could be tsw.

 

TSW 2020 at the moment runs on the Unreal 4 engine as well, although its an earlier version than the one on TSW2 (the engine upgrade is one of the core reasons why its even a separate game). It can get a bit confusing, but the TS2-Prototype thing has nothing to do with TSW 2 really. Alexandreo3 pretty much explained it well enough haha

 

As said above by Alexandreo03, TS2Prototype is simply TSW. Go take a look at your TSW folder and you'll see it's called TS2Prototype in the game files even today, and it was called that ever since it released with the first CSX Heavy Haul route.

 

Train Sim World was originally called "Train Simulator 2" in the studio, hence TS2. The original Train Simulator titles are considered "TS1".

You're reading into this too much.

Think of all the extra play value we get from these posts.
We should have a medal system for the postings with added points for the more obscure or irrelevant they are.
Clean family fun without having to load the game or spend money.
A win win situation.
