All, Anyone else experience the following? After the last round of updates (which I installed today 3/14/21) I pulled up the 'Dirty Dirt Drive' scenario from TSW 2 - legacy collection on the Peninsula Corridor. This scenario for those that don't have it - is a built in one with a trio of 3 GP-38-2 locomotives in UP paint and a freight train. Three bugs - that I don't remember before: 1. Headlights and Ditch lights - when inside the cab - there is absolutely no evidence that the head or ditch lights are on - and the track ahead of you - dark. Yet, from outside views - the lights are clearly on. 2. The indicator on the HUD which normally shows red when the Generator field switch is off - or flashes red to indicate a wheel slip condition - is now red all the time and turns white ONLY when the generator field switch is off. 3. Dynamic brakes - completely useless - never activate - just completely unhooked. Anyone else see these? Thanks! -Joey
On Xbox, I haven't noticed #1, but definitely #2 and #3. #3 is new, having been broken by a recent update. It affects many EMD diesels from the US routes, although I've seen that the dynamics may work again with the Sand Patch locomotives if you are on PC (but not on console).
Doing a scenario on Sand Patch now - just to compare - the headlights still seem a bit weak but are working - the dynamics certainly are - and now when I cut the generator field switch, the indicator doesn't turn red - nor does it remain red when its on. Somethings up here DTG! -Joey
Still running that scenario on Sand Patch - now my sand indicator is stuck on for no apparent reason.... -Joey
I have recently noticed the headlight/ditch light one as well. You can't see anything from the UP GPs during the night. And it was a normal service, so it's not just a scenario problem.
