Tsw 2 Data Structure And File Handling

    Hi there.

    Following suggestion:

    As far as I ubderstand the working principles of UE4 and TSW, there are many things being Integrated per route basis and therefore doubled to say at least.
    Example PIS and other certain assets.

    Would it be possible to extract repetetive assets including locos from the routes itself?

    I was wondering because the PIS and most of the destination displays on trains work on a per route basis making exchangeability of rolling stock problematic.

    Why not having the PIS, Destination Display System as own project and pak file.
    Once ist route is loaded it is loading the needed board types from the pak file and fills the data with the route based Info like destinations times etc...
    Advantage would be you can upgrade, improve and evolve thos aspects without touching every route thus making it a bit more modular.

    It works for the BR101 dlc as well or with the BR182 as rolling stock.

    Now whenever you develop a new Loco/Asset etc which is per route based, it is a ton of work to keep track of its diffetent versions and states on the different routes.

    Just an idea...
