Hi
I am posting my third Wishlist, but it is different from previous ones.
This is because, the new one includes a new country, not available on TSW2 yet.
I selected Switzerland
Why?
> We need more countries, in order to get more trains variety
> Their trains are really interesting
> The routes are beautiful, but also challenging due to lot of curves, and mountains.
> The main IC routes, have the right length for DTG requirements

So let's start

A) LOCOMOTIVES & PASSENGER WAGONS

A modern classic. The RE 460
SBB RE-460-locomotive.jpg

Passenger wagons could be the classic SFF ones
a-sbb-cff-ffs-wagon-15543.jpg

Or the double decker ones, with the cab car
sw ic 2000 .jpg

B) FULL EMU TRAINS

RABe 503 Eurocity Tilting
RABe 503 EUROCITY.jpg

Stadler RABe 501
STADLER SBB RABe 501.jpg

More trains coming on the reply below due to picture quantity limit.

C) ROUTES:
As to routes there are some options between the mayor cities:

ZURICH TO BERN – 96 KM
ZURICH TO LUCERNE - 41 KM
GENEVA TO LAUSANNE – 50 KM
BERN TO LAUSANNE – 70 KM
BASEL TO LUCERNE – 74 KM
Note: I found this information on the web.

So this distances are Ok for DTG requirements!.

Please feel free to make your comments about it.

Other interesting Swiss trains are:

Stadler RABe 502 Twindexx
STADLER RABe 502.jpg

Stadler KISS 242
STADLER KISS SWISS.jpg

That train is also used by DB on Germany as IC. So we can have it on a route of that country too!
Stadler-KISS_DB-IC_Railcolornews_3356.jpg

D) CARGO LOCOMOTIVES

RE 474 CARGO
SBB_Re_474_CARGO.jpg

Bombardier TRAXX 487
SWISS BOMBARDIER TRAXX 487.jpg

Hope you like it!

I'd like to see some Narrow gauge, as while the routes may be shorter they tend to have a lot more for the player to do.

Thanks fabdiva for your reply
I know there are several narrow gauge and special trains there.
The Glaciar Express is one of them.
But in this case I prefered to mentioned only with standard gauge, in order to make things easier for DTG.

I've already poked Rivet Games on their facebook page. Told them I'd love to see one of those RhB narrow gauge routes in TSW. I suggest everyone else does the same thing, to let Rivet Games know there's a demand for such a route :)
Bonjour

28217 [/ ATTACH]

28226 [/ ATTACH]

D) LOCOMOTIVES CARGO

RE 474 CARGO
28228 [/ ATTACH]

Bombardier TRAXX 487
28230 [/ ATTACH]

J'espère que vous l'aimez! [/ QUOTE]

But remember still if the route is okay for DTG im not sure they would add a whole lot to the route.I say this because DTG's routes have been halfbaked but still this would be a nice edition for TSW2

I'd rather see Rivet Games make their foray into TSW routes with one of these lines!

I'd love that, but I fear the line would be a bit long for DTG. We are talking about 291km of narrow gauge (some rack-based in the western part) railway. That being said, I'd totally play the whole of it, from Zermatt to St. Moritz.

As to route length, Matt informed technically there is no problem about it.
But the issues they have are the great level of detail they want the route have, and extra time it will require to accomplish both things.
So they prefer to make shorter routes and more routes available soon.

My opinion is what he mentioned sounds really reasonable.

But the real fact when you are driving on the current routes I noticed, is I missed most of the great details of the routes, due to you are concentrated about speed limits, signals, and distances to stop - mainly for passenger trains on stations - and operating the train.
Even considering most of the time the view in front it depends on the locomotive, and you mainly see the direct straight view in front of the train. No the side ones.
So the only way to really enjoy the great details they have included on the routes, it is go slowly and use the external view.
Then no timetables, and not real driving experience.
I noticed they made really great things even a bit far of the tracks. But you did not noticed if you stop and walk to that places.

So frankly speaking, - considering all mentioned above - I would prefer a bit longer routes - 100 / 140 kms - with only great details close to the tracks.

What do you think?

Yes me too BERN - LAUSANNE
It's longer than both routes they are working on atm
Island Line
Arosa Line
I guess that's cos of getting use to the new engine with route building hopefully in the near future we get slightly longer routes from Rivet Games
