I have some questions regarding TSW 4: Is TSW 4, as I'm seeing others say, little more than a "new" title that offers little over TSW3? Are new routes still going to be made available for TSW3? Given how TSW3 has only been out for a year or so will support for it be stopped at some point? Will TSW3 routes carry over into TSW4, I've heard that they will but that you may need to redownload them at no extra cost? Perhaps one of the DTG Matt team can come onto this thread and answer any questions players may have.

Well given how short a time we've had TSW3 for then I can't see this being a day one purchase for me or many others given how it's merely an update.
Yeah it's yet another paid update, with features that should have been added to TSW3 being locked behind a paywall, not only that it's the broken promises, lies and excuses coming from DTG in regards previous content and fixes.
As a new user, I am not happy about the news, and getting unhappier as I realize that my TSW3 investment is lost as of 9/26. Thinking of options, I enumerated going back to flight simming and leaving the trains on the ground behind me, going to the option of subscribing to another train sim, continue using TSW3 knowing there is no hope for new routes, and using what I have in my back pocket which is Train Simulator Classic. I bought it at the same time as TSW3 and never really used it. Scrambling for an early solution to my dilemma, I fired up TSC just to compare, and the graphics really aren't that bad. I have no mods or tweaks, just a few DLCs. It has a completely different HUD, things I find important like rain effects -check, night time FPS - check, DLC available - check, works with joystick driver - check. Hey this isn't that bad. I immediately missed the physics of TSW3 trains though. And God Mode.
