With the announcement that TSW 3 will feature an extension of HS1 to Ashford, surely this brings in the opportunity to get in e300s and e320s into the game? Of course I understand the licensing issues but it’s a bit crazy that this is something DT are putting as their main route without the inclusion of the two international train sets. It would make STP so much more busy and realistic, and hell, make them drivable to Ashford with possible expansion to Paris or Brussels. Maybe it’s too much to ask but it would have been nice to see classes 373 and 374 on the extended HS1. Happy that we’re getting the HS1 extension, but it shouldn’t be the selling point of TSW3
E320 can arrive if made as the DB BR407 Rhein-Main 408 Hollandstrecke Duisburg-Utrecht if merged it becomes Hollandstrecke Duisburg?Bochum-Utrecht. Then made one from Livery Editor then shared on Creators Club from DB Baureihe 407/408
Agreed. I understand the licensing issues, but it would still be nice to see the Class 373 Eurostar sometime on the route in the future.
Im not sure if that would work since the ice 3 can’t be on Creators club. Why would the Ice 3 Velaro D be on it
As you mentioned, licensing is the main issue. And I doubt anybody would want a fictional Eurostar livery since it got Rivet a lot of backlash for the 484. The most reasonable thing to do is if DTG made the ICE3 Velaro D for a German high-speed route. Then players could simply make a Eurostar livery. The other issue is that there are Eurostar services that skip both Ebbsfleet and Ashford. Idk how many trains Eurostar runs between London and Paris, but I would assume not a lot since it's an intercity train. Probably like 50 tops. There probably wouldn't be a lot of playable services since I believe most skip Ashford.
But the Br407/408 doesn't run to Belgium or the Nederland, it's just the ICE 3M Br406, Br407/408 is perfect if the route Köln Rhein Main or Karlsruhe Straßburg would come
2 trains per hours 1 for Paris north and 1 for Brussels and there are 5 trains per day to amsterdam and trains to Marne la vallé 3 trains per day only TMST (but not anymore)
