Tsw 3 Won't Play When Installed On Steam

Just bought and installed TSW 3 and it won't run. I have it installed via Steam (uninstalled and reinstalled several times) also verified files, I press play then after a few seconds it goes back to PLAY again with nothing launching. I have TSW 2 and it works fine. What's going on?

 

Are you sure it’s not still downloading your DLC? If you have most of the routes etc. could be up to 100Gb of additional data to download and it won’t open the game until that’s complete.

 

Did you try to restart your computer? This may help in some rare cases.

 

You might be missing a redistributable needed for the game to work.
