So I was playing Koln Aachen with Vectron... and I either forgot to release the LZB or went too fast, dont remember really... so eventually I got emergency/penalty brake application... so I tried the usual - PZB release, when that didnt help, I tried turning everything off and turning it on back again... but it just kept beeeeeeeping and showing this weird thing HL Druck Auf SB Niveau or sth like that... and it just kept beeping and I couldnt move... is it a bug or am I just missing something?

Short answer: it is working as expected, that is no bug.

Long answer: shutting everything down is wrong. Release the brakes (move lever to Quick Release shortly), cancel the Alarm by PZB Release and wait until the brakes are fully released (5 bar).

HL Druck auf SB Niveau means the brake pipe is depressurized, following an emergency braking (SB).

well, I know the usual drill, thats pretty much what I did... but literally nothing released the thing... so I tried partial shutdowns, and later shut everything down... and put it back on, and tried releasing the brakes... but it wouldnt budge... in the end I just gave up and shut down the game lol... will try tomorrow, save it close to Koln and simulate the same situation, if I manage to get out of it using your method :) ... cos as I said, I know the usual drill for releasing stuff on german locos, but it didnt work... will try your exact advice, and will report

anyway, I got the whole thing captured on a live video, if you want, you can check it on my FB profile (Miroslav Kizák)
Update: So I tried, first in a new game, then from a saved point from that game (so I wouldnt have to go all over again)... so it seems like at some point it could have bugged and not released the LZB properly (plus didnt start applying brakes at correct point), so it then got the penalty brakes, and it was impossible to release from that state... however, when I tried from a saved point, the LZB released properly and its braking also, then just had to do the AFB shenanigan afterwards and onwards to gold we go :)

Will try it again later to test this further :)

yep, tried everything, but didnt manage to turn off the annoying beeping aka the fault itself... anyway, looks like it was AFB or LZB bugging out - one time it refused to release the LZB upon pushing the correct button, other time it was fine, so dunno :)

I have the solution to your problem.
You also sit in the driver's cab to drive off.
Key inserted, brakes released, direction of travel set.
Now the wagons are still without air pressure. You have to push the brake lever forward at least 5-6 times - when your level empties, either start it manually with the air pressure pump so that your locomotive fills up with air again or it fills the air automatically. You can hear it when the pump is working. As I said, you have to press the brake lever forward at least 5-6 times - wait until the air in your locomotive is filled, then press the brake lever forward again. And with such a long train it takes time until the last carriage receives brake air.
And you will see that afterwards you can immediately start your journey back.

It seems that LZB Ende in the Flix Vectron is fatally bugged This happens to me every single time, with no warning.
