After the TSW 6 announcements I thought that there are a couple older routes that would benefit from remasters at some point. After the announcement of Leipzig to Dresden I thought that the Rapid Transit route could really do with a remaster. It has the potential to be a really busy and exciting S-Bahn route but as it stands, it feels quiet, dated with poor sounds on the DB BR 1442. A remaster would bring this route up to date, add the new Leipzig to Dresden AI layers and would attract new players to the remastered route, if it is promoted as an expansion to the Leipzig to Dresden route similar to Frankfurt S-Bahn. The reveal of NEC New York to Stanford also highlighted the need for a remaster of the Harlem Line. This is a great route but as it stands it does look quite dated compared to LIRR Commuter. A remaster or possible extension to Southeast would bring the route up to date and could add the M8 as AI only layers. I personally think if we are due to get any more remasters Rapid Transit should take priority due to the age of the route and with Leipzig Dresden being the core route. However remastering Harlem Line would be great too and would make route hopping between the two routes less jarring.
