Excellent decision to add the Fernbahnhof! First day purchase for me now! Are there any plans to continue this route to Cologne?

 

My question is: where on earth is that beach screenshot from Cargo Line 3?!

 

I'm on PS5. There is a issue with the cab display screens since a recent patch. You can view the screen which then zooms in and the cursor moves but you can't interact with the buttons. Pressing X you get drivers mode at the right side.
DTG Harry is aware of this issue.
Just wondered if this is a known issue and is there a fix coming?

 

Can we expect Frankfurt Sbahn to release in april as this seems to be one of the most progressed dlcs on the roadmap?
Will the price be the standard 35.99 Euros again?

 

1. How will the new Frankfurt S-Bahn route perform on Gen 9 console? And can you promise it will work as intended? I'm looking forward to it, but still rather concerned considering Frankfurt-Fulda has major issues on Gen 9 like frequent video memory errors and blurry textures...

2. How long before Frankfurt S-Bahn is finished?

3. How is optimisation for Frankfurt-Fulda progressing? Is this still a major priority for DTG as those on console really want to like this route.

4. The new Dutch route performs really smooth (one of the best ever in my opinion). So, what optimisation techniques did you learn, and will this mean Frankfurt S-Bahn will perform much better than the core TSW 5 route?

5. Final question, not related to above. But are DTG still going to focus on new modern Austrian routes?

 

What kind of performance should we expect on the Frankfurt S-Bahn? Frankfurt-Fulda is currently nearly unplayable on Ps5 with the extreme stuttering and blurry textures.

 

Are there any (long-term) plans to improve route hopping so you can drive the ICE from Fulda to the airport for example?

 

Is there any updates on the release of the 158 timetable for Fife Circle?

 

For Xbox platforms

- When will Zfighting be fixed? (on at least tsw 5 core content) as stated shortly after it's release last September

- As the team are aware what needs to be done to fix and prevent Zfighting, why are we still seeing dlc released with this problem?

- Any plans to address the awful audio popping still plauging the xbox verion of the game?

 

What gear box does the new Pacer variant have?

 

Based on the reception of Spoorlijn Zwolle-Groningen route, have plans for more Dutch routes been discussed or planned?

 

The obvious question, is the Class 104 cancelled completely?

 

Regarding GeForce NOW, does this mean that cloud sync will be enabled? Or will we not be able to track our progress when using it?

 

Does DTG have any plans for US content this year or, 3rd parties aside, have you abandoned the American market?

Why has the 104 and peak forest been removed does this mean it’s been scrapped if so why ?

 

Why is there not a single american item on the list, other than the Santa Fe gameplay pack?

Any updates on Tamadi Line? Like what's being worked on currently or something? Surely something must be happening that can at least be talked about.

 

When will TSW6 be coming? How much involvement have Rivet had in the UK route that will inevitably included?

 

Did the survey about American routes help you? Did you discover something new from what players suggested? Will the next American route be one of those suggested by the players?

When will we get the promised suspension for the LIRR EMU's?

How are things going with the eye adaptation bug fix?

After release of the mod adding rolling stock substitution from the Boston Commuter to the Boston Sprinter, are you going to add these layers officially? (I just remembered how after the success of the mod for the WCML you ran to make your own advanced timetable).

 

When will you finally fix some (very) old bugs. They seem to be totally ignored while bugs on new routes get all the attention. I'll list only a few as example:
- SH04 service on RRO (G6) has been unplayable now for a very long time
- Touchscreen MFD still don't work on consoles
- The signal/PZB issues on HMA
- for months now, the total number of services in TSW5 shows: 00/00

 

Why is there barely any news for the DB BR 420? Could the addon be moved to 0-3 months by next roadmap?

 

Why is there no new in house UK route even in the extended TBC section?
Why is there no new North American route even in the extended TBC section?
Does this mean you no longer have staff directly working for Dovetail on in house projects, or are they now seconded onto work for the late summer bundle/TSW6?

Removal of the Class 104 from the Roadmap seems to vindicate suspicions of vapourware. Is the project officially dead, or has it simply been removed as the developer is struggling and no ETA. If the 3D model is done, can DTG not help the author with aliasing sounds and physics to the existing Class 101 which, while not perfect, would suffice to get the train in the game?

Will the Class 142 be accompanied by any improvement to the dire, short and over priced Cardiff Network route including a bit more route mileage.

Why the low hanging fruit of the Class 142 reskin and not a new Class 143?

Why is it taking so long to fix the stuttering and sound squelching which has become worse as TSW5 progresses?
Do you have enough (any) programmers qualified to do a deep dive in the code and UE base to get to the bottom of the issues?
What happened to the EP's undertaking to open up more save game slots? It is faintly ridiculous that a game of this magnitude and ever expanding content still only has one save slot.
Likewise, where are we with the commitment the EP gave to have "engineering" fix the save/load loss of objective data when chaining services and saving on a subsequent run?

 

I have to say I had have hoped ATS route may have been closer, why the constant delays?

How far into development is the Mildway line?

When can we see bugs associated with the core product to be addressed and acknowledged by DTG or will they just be ignored until the next iteration of TSW is released in the autumn?

 

Presumably the same as the newest version (v3) from Blackpool, as I don’t think any mechanical changes occurred after they had new engines and gearboxes in the 90s.

 

I have a few questions

With new content coming are there any reassurances that can be made with regard to the core issues and performance?
With performance and core issues sticking out like a sore thumb what is being done to fix the issues we're all having with sound, crashes and performance?

What updates are being looking at for Cardiff?
The route has some real promise to it with the 153 are there any plans to have a pass over scenery and fix some of the issues? Look at the gulf between the Dutch route (with it's fully modelled station front) and what happened on Cardiff. It would be nice especially if you're trying to sell more content for it and many of us don't feel convinced by current offerings.

Steam again (Not stopping ), With content developers like Victory works who actively wanted to create content for TSW can you not try to work with them to try and fix some of the core issues with steam as a whole?
Steam is an important part of the Train world and with so many developers on TSC can't you work with some of them to try and fix the core issues and routes? Look at the initial images of Hayling island that VW did. That could be a great project to try and fix steam physics on a small scale and get something working! I know it's a mess but there has to be some way of working with third parties to fix that if DTG dont feel it's viable for themselves?

Are you please look into the absolute farce that is Creators Club!!
Just to highlight a few problems I encountered over the weekend….
1. Entering HST or Grand Central HST in the search bar produced……zero results!
2. Why can’t we search by Creators names?
3. Can DTG look at increasing the number of subscriptions held at any one time…24 seems ludicrously low in my opinion. In my circumstance I am already subbed to a particular creator but cannot download anymore scenarios or liveries. Surely, a subscription to a Creator should count as ONE and not each separate livery or scenario from said Creator!

Finally, what has happened to future routes? Absolutely zilch coming up apart from the Mildmay extension as proposed by Johannes!

Lol…you know that officially TSW6 doesnt exist so there’s unlikely to be an answer. When I dared to mention TSW6 in a previous Roadmap stream I was immediately shot down by multiple mods. We all know its coming so don’t treat us like idiots DTG (and stream mods!)

 

With a lot of recent releases having a lot of game breaking bugs, are DTG looking to overhaul the QA process moving forward to stop these game breaking issues from re-occuring on each release? It is getting quite annoying to have new content release in a broken state

Why are we not receiving train announcements? It would be great to see this implemented. Even if it's an third-party audio announcement I feel like licensing is causing an issue with this.

 

If a one man band like Johannes can do a route extension why can’t DTG do something similar to ECML or WCML???

 

As routes get more complicated and require more and more layers are console limitations impacting on PC developments?

 

Will the Richmond extension feature an accurately modelled AFC Richmond?

 

What about possible voice announcement on the new Pacer? I know that JT are good at it.

With more 3rd parties coming onboard has there been any consideration approaching 3rd parties directly and asking if they would be interested in developing content more so for the US

 

Obviously love the Fernbahnhof this is shaping up to be one of my fav routes ever.

A question, will the return to relevance of Linke Rheinstrecke for a while mean this blunder at km 118 will finally be fixed??

It's not dead Simtrack have other priorities currently

 

In the March Roadmap we could read, that Skyhook is planning Cane Creek and Horseshoe Curve updates. In the April Roadmap there is nothing about that topic.

 

i know, i am still waiting for the M8, the new haven line or the hudson line with the P32 engine and the shoreliner cab car. Hopefully we will see this in May on the next RoadMap. So far not a lot of interesting route for me yet

 

Single most important question here. Taking it that DTG glossed over it on the stream?
