I have a route I would like to suggest.
This would be a route Dlc With 2 routes in it.
Edinburgh -Glasgow Central - Glasgow Queen Street
    1. Edinburgh Waverly to Glasgow Queen Street Via Falkirk High
    2. Edinburgh Waverly to Glasgow Central Via Carstairs

    Rolling Stock
Class 380 (ScotRail) (would only run on Shotts line+layers)
Class 385 (ScotRail) (Shotts and Falkirk line)
    Class 66 (Freight) (fright routes+layers)

    Intercity 125 (ScotRail Inter7City)
    Intercity 225 (LNER)
    Class 220 (CrossCountry)
    Class 221 (Crosscountry)
    Class 397 (TransPennine Express)
Class 390 Pendilino (Avanti West Coast)
    *Base Trains in Bold
**Other trains may come as DLC for this route

    upload_2022-8-3_9-58-35.png
    Why?
The Edinburgh and Glasgow Railway Routes are some of the biggest and most used railways in Scotland. This should have been the first Scottish Dlc I think but Dovetail Games chose Cathcart Circle. This route would be modern 2019-2022 and would be the first game Dlc to feature the New Class 385 AT200 trains. This would also put the Class 380 and Class 385 on Cathcart Circle when purchased. This route is a High Speed route feturng several stops. It features 3 biggest stations in Scotland. Route length is 42 miles.

    Stations:
    Falkirk High Route:
    Glasgow Queen Street
    Croy
    Falkirk High
    Polmomt
    Linlithgow
    Haymarket
    Edinburgh Waverly

    Carstairs Route:

    Glasgow Central
    Motherwell
    Wishaw
    Carluke
    Carstairs
    Haymarket
    Edinbrugh Waverly

Please let me know what your thoughts are and if you would want to see this in the game.

Perhaps we could get a different freight locomotive. I do like the Class 66. A Class 60 or 56 could be good substitutes for the Class 66.

Also in the CCL scenario where you start at sheilds tmd they should replace the acl/icl AI with 380s

They should also have some British transport police visible in the station

I think 380s would be a good Idea I just want them to get the sounds right and not mess alot of things up. Also I'm playing cathcart just now and they need more trains more frequently just like on London commuter.

I hope the get the sounds right and not just reuse the BR talent sounds. They sound simmelar but not the same. The Classic whining sound as it comes into the station is Iconic and they shouldn't mess it up.

Great suggestion, however its rare that 380s do operate Edinburgh-queen st services, though they do operate edinburgh-central occasionally so that would maybe work, apart from that i would love to see this in game

Amazing suggestion! Lot of lovely rolling stock can be included and even layered/subbed into Glashow Cathcart Cirlce with is very much needed [imo]! The route itself looks and sounds very promising too, I think this would be the next perfectly Scotrail route

How would it do the Cathcart Circle is it replacing the 314 or a 2019 timetable with 385 doing the Peak trips like 2N34?

I think 2019 timetable with the Class 385 at peak and the class 380 a the rest of the time would be good.

We know it's not a base route for TSW3 but it could still come as a DLC. Maybe even all the lines from Glasgow to Edinburgh concidering the New route lenth that DTG are making

Hopefully you get your Class 380 which could come as a Loco DLC at some point. I can’t wait to see Edinburgh Waverly in TSW. Also Haymarket.

Fingers Crossed! Although it's unlikely though, because it's rivet games and they rarely do two trains.

Yea! It'll be great! I think half the reason they included the lifts and escalators was for Waverly. They have so many going up to the walkway going above the platforms. :)

I also hope they include the gaurds pannel on the class 385! I saw it in action at Queen Street! I just hope they don't mess up the sounds. I think it might get anounced on Thursday! :D

Aw man that would be great if they announced it on Thursday. Possibly a January release after Christmas and new year. A great start to 2023 I would say.
