Any update on getting the Pacer announcements sorted on the Lancaster to Morecambe route. Since release all it's ever said is that the next stop is "Salwick", which of course is a mostly unused station on the Blackpool branches line.

DLSS/FSR. Is this feature planned? Is there a team working on integrating this functionality?

Matt talked earlier in the year about hearing players wish to see Brighton MainLine receive a mini update/refresh.

Can Matt tell us if this is a project that will go ahead (no dates) or currently is just a "wishlist" project?

When Rivet released the 170 timetable for Cross-City for a brief time PIS displays were a bit bugged due to new locations not being in the routes station database, with that in mind, will an update be planned for Midland Mainline to support the new destinations trains will be going to in the timetable from the Class 70 DLC?

    When will TSR be fixed?

Matt talked earlier in the year about TSR being fixed always to 40mph and 2 carriages length being not as intended, and he wanted to get it looked at. Can Matt let us know why as a Core Feature for TSW6 they are still broken?

In the Trent Valley stream there was different ones, 75mph (as opposed to 40), and maybe the length was different? (Not 100% sure on that)

What's going on with the DB BR420? The DLC has been on the roadmap for ages, and we haven't seen any updates since last year.

The MML is not receiving any new trains or train liveries or classes, only a new timetable with existing content.

Question: According to the roadmap, DTG isn't developing any in house DLC. Could you explain why? Are you developing something in secret without telling us? Have DTG stopped developing content themselves and left that part completely to third parties?

Now that I see Purno signature another question comes to mind. When are we finally going to get another Dutch route? I thought the first Dutch dlc was one of the strongest DLC’s ever, yet almost two years later… still no other Dutch routes to be found

In regards to blurry textures. Please explain how this is possible if just optimisation needed. Seen on Riviera Line

    1. Depart heading towards Paignton.
    2. Textures gone completely blurring half way through the journey.
    3. Fnish at Paignton, go into freeroam.
Head up to Torquay, blurry textures still present.
    4. Disappear for a bit for phone call, cup of tea etc
    5. While later a 150 turns up at platform (AI obviously). TEXTURES ALL GO BACK TO NORMAL!!! (Checked out cab as well, all good)
    6. AI train departs towards Paignton, taking the good textures with it.

    Yes the above happened

So question is this. How the hell has an AI train nicked all the high LOD textures

Fife circle update mentioned in the roadmap... Will the audio finally be fixed?!? Does that mean I finally have to stop moaning about them?!?

(I know I moan about them a lot so just want to put on record that yes, I do enjoy playing TSW!)

If they are doing something, they won't tell you until they've made you buy Tsw7.

This is a question I have asked too, even though I know they won't answer it. Is the TSW content "in house" establishment now so small there is no means to produce anything and reliance has switched to third parties? By now we should have had a modest UK route from DTG themselves but there is nothing. Well I'm guessing as they had to get Rivet to produce the UK content for the TSW6 release, there is nothing left apart from a residual coder or two and the marketing/PR staff and management.

When will the London Victoria-Brighton route be renewed? It's one of the best routes to TSW, with an amazing busy timetable.
Are there any plans to renew the other old routes to TSW as well?

So I'm guessing since its June we won't see any improvements on Blurry textures until TSW7. Just like I said on the December roadmap.

Hi, since Incredible Trains managed to acquire official TfL announcements, does DTG plan to also grab some for Goblin, Watford DC, or perhaps the Bakerloo Line?

At the Trent Valley stream last week Matt spoke about optimization progress even at the core game. Does this mean, that we have a chance for a full timetable for Frankfurt S-Bahn at consoles?

In the article stands "We're getting very close to the release of High Iron Simulation's next release, and bringing you all brand-new US freight power across the Cajon Pass, San Bernardino and Sherman Hill routes."

Does this mean, that the GP60M brings new stuff or timetables to Sherman Hill too?

Hi, during the last roadmap Q+A I asked if a DTG (TSW) could publish a list of all of the licenses they have, e.g., to guide community suggestions and such. Jan thought it was a good idea and Matt said he'll look into it with the licensing team. So I was wondering if there has been any updates since then?

A lot of people are asking for the Pendolino sounds to be redone. I hope the Class 378 gets new sounds as well.

Happy with that roadmap! Can't wait for the class 70, Preston-Crewe and dare i say it, the Fife update!

I'll wait a few days to see what the performance is like for Trent valley on XSX, if that seems to run okay I'll give that a shot too.

Question more for Alex/Matt I suppose - are the pendolino sounds going to be redone? The awful whir up to around 40mph (IIRC) is horrible on the ears, and I think people were initially saying on the forum it was not prototypical (present irl but to a much lesser degree). The looping is also particularly prominent up to circa 40.

Apart from the looping, IMO, I think this is where it'd be great if we could set our own volume levels for motor/engine noise in cab.

I don't mind the Pendolino (Although I have to turn the AC off to get rid of the tinnitus inducing whine) but can't stand driving stuff like the Azuma where it's virtually silent inside the cab. It may not be realistic but it'd be nice to set the volume ourselves.

Please can the sounds for the Classes 390 Pendolino/378 Capitalstar be redone, they are my favourite sounding trains in real life, but do not sound right in TSW. The Capitalstar has distinct sounds to the 375/77/79/87 Electrostars, and sounds virtually the same to the 376s on Southeastern. The Pendolino sounds most like SamTSM`s mod on Train Simulator Classic, its a bit peculiar we have such authentic sounds there yet not in TSW6, someone please raise this with SamT, I have tried to but idk if he`s seen it. Many thanks.

Would the Manchester airport line timetable would be fixed instead of spawning on foot everytime you select 220 service on timetable

That's a good idea. I quite like the motor noise the Azuma likes when it switches from low to high, and always used to exit the cab and 'stand' in the carriage to hear it. Agree about the AC noise - frustrates me that we cannot fully knock it off in the 710 on Goblin also.

    Hello everyone,

The June 2026 Roadmap is timestamped, which highlights all our discussion topics, and answers to many questions from this thread.

    June 2026 Roadmap Livestream

(Thank you to our team, chat moderators and some of you in the community who have provided answers to many!)

Just a quick mention that anything regarding new content that we've not yet shared details about, we won't be able to answer directly. Many of the questions in this thread were directly answered on the Roadmap stream above, so please be sure to skim through the timestamps to see if you got an answer!

    Key Discussion Topics
This Roadmap, we continued to address frequently mentioned topics in the community, mainly related to the health of the game, and key issues that players are finding limit or harms their experience. Please use the links below to hear from our team on these areas:

    Additional Community Questions
Q: Would we add a TSW "common" folder to help manage file/scenery sizes across Add-ons?
I don't believe any work is happening on implementing this, but this might be a suggestion for the team to consider, so I can carry that forward to query.

Q: Why isn't DTG developing any in-house add-ons, there's nothing on the Roadmap?
...nothing announced! Our teams at Dovetail are still working on new add-ons and content, which we're excited to announce to you all when the time comes!

Q: Plans to newer older routes in TSW?
We'll come back to this conversation at a later point, but we've seen alot of support and love for our recent remasters, and these are a great way to bring life to existing content available in TSW with the latest features!

Q: With TfL announces coming to Mildmay, will we add them to other TfL content in TSW?
Currently not on the plan; It's amazing that Johannes is adding this to Mildmay, but updating our older content isn't a simple process to revisit. It can be something our teams consider, but it's not a simple implementation we can add in quickly. Definitely a great idea, I'd love for us to come back to this content some day!

Q: Are there any Class 390 sound updates?
I believe we discussed some work on these a few months back, right now I've not seen any progress/information for changes to the 390 sounds. Appreciate the feedback, for now though, unless we say more, I don't believe we have any updates to share.

    Direct Player Responses
ToffeeKat - Don't believe we have anything to share with this project, other than this being something Matt has on his mind.

archline - DB BR 420 is a project being worked on from the TSG group, it's been in development for a long time, we shared some new proress in the last few months, but the development lies and continues with their team, and we'll share what we have when it comes in. Right now, we've placed it in "TBC" whilst we don't have a date in mind for release.

azzax333 - Ideally we'll talk more about Grump Dog's upcoming projects soon! Hold tight for now :)

bakedpotatos.jm - From our discussions on blurred textures, I recommend tuning into our Roadmap stream during our State of the Game June 2026 update, but myself and Matt talk more about the progress we've made on performance, removing blurred textures so far, and positive developments & learnings moving forward. It's not a single fix, but a continual process, and we'll continue to keep working on this for years to come (as part of general optimisation efficiency).

Thank you everyone - look forward to catching you all in the community! :)
