Tsw Livery Manager

OK, I am close to figuring this out so I will try to explain. I downloaded the TSW livery manager and got the correct Net core 3.1 and it loads.

There are two problems. For some reason I have to hit the exe file every time I want to load it I thought it would show up in my menu of programs and not have to hit the exe every time I want to load it. Obviously, I am doing something wrong.

Then

C:\Users\Tim Newton\OneDrive\misc\Documents\Documents (1)\My Games\TrainSimWorld2\Saved\SaveGames\UGCLiveries_0.sav

Then I set library directory below

C:\Users\Tim Newton\OneDrive\misc\Documents\Documents (1)\My Games\TrainSimWorld2\Reskins

I made a reskin folder as shown above I downloaded some loco reskins of BNSF Ace and NS 5 different Aces. They show up in editor of left side and I them import them to the next free space on the right.

I go to livery designer in the tools section of the game, and they show up there and if I want, I can edit them etc.

When I go to the scenario planner and try to make up a train, they are not listed

Can someone give me a clue how to rectify this?

To get the EXE to show up in your start menu, browse to the EXE and right-click and choose "Pin to Start". This has to be done manually because this is just the program there is no installer to do that for you.

Which route are you not seeing the liveries for?

If you make a livery of your own of one of the locos on that route without using the 3rd party tool do they show up?

Are the liveries for locos that normally run on that route? If they're not give Off The Rails a try in Scenario Planner.

I imagine someone who uses this tool might be able to help you.

OK, Thanks. I now have the loco's show up in scenario planner but I can only put one loco (ex, NS 1111 and I select a consist and it puts in 4 NS 1111's.

How do I get the reskins (Boxcars etc. to show up and can I make up a train with different reskins with different locos and cars that are for download in the Trainsim Community?

Further to above, I am using off the rails oin the scenario planner and I am doing it on two routes, The Sherman Hill and CSX Heavy haul

 

Sadly, there is no way to specify coach/wagon liveries, just locos and MUs

 

OK, Thanks. I hope they build an editor so we can make our own someday. Like the older ones.

 

Query: are there any plans to release a TSW4 version of this invaluable utility? The old one doesn't work in 4.
