Do many of you play on headphones? What do you think of the sound quality? Since I got my gaming headset I play almost everything on headset but TSW I can't play on it because something with the engines always start to crackle. This used to be very prominent on PS5, is probably still very prominent on Xbox. But on PS5 the crackle was toned down a lot. I don't hear too much of it on the soundbar but on headphones you can't miss it. What is that crackle and will it ever be fully removed. Did the introduction of Carhart circle and around 20-30 km/h the crackle starts and disappears on higher speeds
I play only with a headset! I have the steelseries artics pro Wireless and with this Headset in can tweak the sound very easy so i have no issues. But yeah the sounds for TSW are not the big deal... Its more that i use it for nice story games with high quality sounds. What you describes i have never experienced that on pc.... Did you maybe have to high settings and the sound have issue to run?
Its nothing with the headset because I hear this crackle already since TSW2 on 2 different TV's, 2 different soundbars and 3 different consoles (PS4, Xbox Series and PS5) On Xbox it is even noticeable without headphones. I think this is probably console related. I have the Elite Pulse. The game itself sounds good except for the stereo panning, but the crackle of the engine at certain speeds is much more prominent because you hear everything way clearer.
I sometimes use headphones. Having them on for a while starts to get uncomfortable, but when I do the 3D audio from the ps5 makes it more enjoyable
I use the official Sony PlayStation headphones (Pulse 3D or something like that? Can’t remember) on PS5. I find the sound much improved over the headphones vs TV. Only play TSW with the headphones now.
I need to start playing with headphones; every time the AWS clear chime rings, my wife will pick her head up from her book and go "DING!" Don't even get me started with newer German units that have 'talking' SIFA alerts and acknowledgements lol I have played with a higher end pair of wired HyperX over-ear headphones in the past with no issues other than the known Xbox audio bugs. I do play TSC on my PC in the bedroom with my headphones so as not to disturb our downstairs neighbor, that never has any issues either.
I can't get that image out of my head. Tell your wife she should be happy you don't play CoD Anyways the 101 Expert is like one big old scratched record on headphones
It's decent, even with budget headphones the audio is realistic, just don't have them too loud though
