Finally got around to buying a system and have bought all the UK DLC.

As a novice, I just wondered what essential UK mods you’d recommend I install.

Probably the most essential right now.

This really brings the route upto scratch with the enhancements, branding patch and busy timetable.

Take a look thru the patch section. There's plenty of mods to try for all types of routes.

Wow - all UK DLC is a large purchase - welcome to the game! Another one I'd recommend, not personally played as on console but heard good things, is the Fife Circle Line Enhancement Pack

 

I’ve taken advantage of the steam sale.

I’ll check that one out too, thank you ever so much. Are they all on the Train Sim Community site?

Mate, I don’t need anyone on this forum to question my posts. It’s no one’s business where or how many times I post. Nor do I have to justify my decision to post on one or several sections of this forum.

Perhaps direct your accusations of rudeness to the self righteous person who’s contribution to this post is utterly meaningless and completely unnecessary and irrelevant.

None of them are essential. Take care when installing them. In some (rare) cases they may cause unexpected behaviour.

 

Then you can't really question their comments either, just sayin'

You have contributed absolutely nothing constructive to this thread, the thread I posted. So, perhaps rather than try and have the last word yourself, indulge yourself in the multitude of other threads, posts, forum sub categories where your contributions can be embraced and welcomed.

That was not the point they tried to make. You posted a thread twice for basically no reason which just clutters up the forums, as many people did that already. You would've gotten your answer as good as you did now if you only posted it once.
