I am fully aware this isn't in TS but that doesn't mean it can't be in TSW.

The Nottingham Express Transit is a 32 kilometre long (20 miles) tramway/light rail in Nottingham, Nottinghamshire, UK which opened on the 9th March 2004 and a second phase which opened on the 25th August 2015 doubling the network length to 64 kilometres/40 miles with 50 stops. In this I'll talk about the route and trains if it comes to TSW.

The network is 40 miles with 2 routes. The Green Route from Hucknall to Toton Lane and the Purple Route from Phoenix Park to Clifton South. The route is also shared past Wilkinson Street with the National Rail Network up to Hucknall. Some parts are single lined but not for long, these are mainly found past Bulwell as well as the Phoenix Park branch. The Green route is mainly used the most as it connects major districts/towns in the city such as Beeston/Bulwell/Chilwell. The Queens Medical Centre is the only hospital in the UK to be linked with a tramway or metro system. [IMG]

Below is a video with a drivers view on the route between The Forest and Royal Centre stops, it gives a metro or stopping service feeling to some people which really want to see in TSW

    Route Landmarks
Here are some landmarks I want to see in this route.

Ningbo Friendship Bridge - This bridge at Queens Medical Centre stop brings the tram over the A36 to the the other side for University of Nottingham stop. [IMG]

Hucknall - The Northern terminus of the network and a national rail station. Not much to say but here is a photo [IMG]

Wilkinson Street Control Centre and Depot - The main signalling centre and depot where all trams are stored. I call this the "home" of the trams [IMG]

    Trams and Trains
What do we want to see in this route pack?

Bombardier Incentro AT6/5 - This tram was the first tram to enter service on the NET in 2004. It was built in between 2002-2003 while the network was being built. In December 2012, NET announced that the fleet would be refurbished and receive a new livery and interior. The first to be refurbished was tram 215, which was released for passenger service on 8 March 2013. Trams 214, 213, 205, 202, 203 have since been refurbished.

Alstom Citadis 302 - This tram was new tram of the fleet for NET built between 2013-2014 and entered service in 2014. [IMG]

BR Class 156 and 158 - These are mainly seen across NET past Wilkinson Street and could be used as AI [IMG] [IMG]

Thats it tbf, If these are added, that would be great!
