Ok stupid newbie question… What is “Trains on diversion”? I’m not getting the correlation between the topic (by definition) and the photos. Is diversion meaning something different here?

^^ To be honest i am also not sure whats the point of this task? I am not native speaker and when i translate it so diversion means something like reroute or railway switch. But when i look at the posted pictures some of them fit the criteria but some not. Not sure if some trains are in places/routes where they usually do not in service? Can someone clarify this?
Class 375 Victoria - Ramsgate service Diverted via Dartford for weekend engineering works. Sehs 375 and 465
My understanding is a train on a route where you wouldn't expect it to be on and some photos fit that definition but DTG Jamie, can you clarify this for BLRy and Fear-Factor, thanks

Yeah that's a great shot, definitely a deserving winner! I was slightly confused by the theme, I thought it meant trains going opposite directions or paths to each other, but I realise now it was just supposed to be trains being diverted to a different line, whether that be because of track maintenance, an emergency, or schedule conflicts.
