PC Tsw Tracker: Track Your Progress In Tsw

Hey everyone,

I've made a website (https://www.tswtracker.com) that has been running for a while, but figured I would share it on here. Essentially, it allows you to track your progress of each DLC in TSW. You have to input the values manually, but once you have done this once, it is easy to just +1 a value after a service run. I made this because I'm a completionist, and I wanted to visually see how close I was to completing service mode in each DLC. This app will automatically know how many services you need to complete based on the DLCs you own (all layers are taken into account).



There are a few extra features like at the end of each month, the app will create a monthly report showing your progress over the last month:



And you can also see which DLCs are most popular and other statistics based on other people using the app.



Please keep in mind that I developed this in my spare time and although I would like to add more features, it is offered as is with no guarantee of refinement.

I‘m using your tool since basically the beginning and it’s very nice. I like seeing my reports after each month and what add ons the other players play at the moment.

Well ... is there a possibility to somehow extract the initial setup out of gamefiles? I'm ingame level > 500 and have A LOT of rides already done, it would take like a day to fill this all in ;-)

 

Agreed. I'd use the tool if I wouldn't have to manually insert all data.

If you somehow manage to add some automation in extracting data from our game, you've got something that's even better than DTGs own driver's logbook. :P

Just found this, it's awesome. I'm pretty high up at #9, didn't know I was sooo addicted.
It was a bit of work to enter my progress but now I can see exactly how much I have already done.

 

As a fellow completionist, I'm very glad you took the time to build this. Great work. Made my account today and I'll be using it from now on.
Although, I did find 3 discrepancies when I filled out my current progress. I play on PS4, so that's what I selected in my account. but when filling out my number of finished timetable services, I found 3 errors in the site.
On Tharandter Rampe, the site gives me a total of 200 services while my game only has 196 avl services
On GWE, the site gives me a total of 339 services while my game only has 315 avl services
For West Cornwall Route the site sais there are 10 achievements avl, but for PS4, there are no trophies for this route
Can you look into this please?

 

Signed up today as it coincided with me losing all my progress due to a hard drive crash .

Firstly and most importantly this is an absolutely fantastic tool, thank you so much.

I absolutely love the random DLC selector, and this alone is going to be reason enough to log in every session.

Only things I'd like to see (other than automation feeding from the game which is impossible & each service listed to be ticked off - which is completely impractical without automation), would be to be able to record gold, silver & bronze medals and (from a completely selfish perspective, because I have zero interest in them) the ability to remove collectables and achievements from the overall stats. Other than these its darn near perfect.

You need to go to the account settings page and tell it which DLC you have I think.

Stupid question time, how do I map the things I see on the TSW menu screen to the items in TSW Tracker. For example, London COmmuter
Tracker has 0/100 Collectibles, 0/10 Achievments, 0/26 Journey Mode, 0/6 Scenarios and 0/1437 Services
So I can see on TSW London Commuter Main Meny, Scenario is Scenaios and Services is Timetable in top left.
I then see at bottom left
Mileage, A Guard with spanner (which is out of 100)/ The 4 collectibles(?) 25 Green Maps? 25 Blue somethings, 25 SIlver somethings and 25 Red traffic signs! I guess the last 4 are the collectibles (shows how much attention I usually pay to them). What mas ti Acheivements and JOurney Mode?

 

So good to be able to see my full progress all in one nice tidy package.

This is a wonderful project. I have started to use it for every activity I complete in TSW2 now. Only thing I could think to add would be Mastery levels completed for those routes that have them. Great job!

 

Well done OP, but it's so much not for me.
Have over 300gb of Tsw2 and doubt I have more than ten collectables to my name.
And as for achievements, who knows...
Guess I'm an hobo by nature.

This really needs incorporating into the game, even if they have to retract other players names in the ranking tables. It would be awesome to have an automatically updated.

 

I've been thinking this for a while. Make a version of it that ties to your Dovetail Live account and you can view it in-game or on your profile online.

 

I like this tool, I can’t be bothered to fill it out. Be great if DTG picked it up, rewarded the creator and it was in game

But routes and DLCs on the site are still updated (Island line 2022 is there). He's probably not that far...

Yes & Island Line 2022 was added within 72 hours of release IIRC.

And thank you everyone for your positive feedback! I don't check this forum often enough, but I do update TSW Tracker when it needs it, and I still use it on a daily basis.

And to answer your questions about it being compatible with TSW3... Yes, it is. I just rolled out a new version that allows you to change your Installed Game from TSW2 to TSW3, and there is an option to transfer your progress over (or you can start from scratch if that's what you're doing in game!).

Looks like a great tool. I created my account and verified. When I tried to log in, I got invalid password or user name. I reset the password, and got the same message. LastPass shows the correct password that I entered too. Does not accept the password using manually entered, or LastPass entered.

Just a small note that SEHS in TWS3 does not seem to have Journey mode, while there are 601 services instead of the 586 listed.
Really enjoying the tool, thanks for making it!

 

There is a journey there -

go to the trains - rail journeys and then select SEHS (may have missed a step as I’m doing this from memory) but I’ve been playing the journey myself

 

Been using it for a month or so now, and I must say, it's a very very nice tool to have! One thing I would like to potentially see in the future though is being able to track what tutorials I've completed, especially since now in TSW 3, it doesn't seem like there's a quick way to find that apart from going to the route itself and look at the tutorial list and what not, so being able to track that in TSW Tracker would be very useful. But apart from that, I really can't fault it - again, it's an excellent tool, and really well put together!
