TSW3 that is... TSW4 going strong and loving it. Gotcha all going!! On a serious note though, uninstalling in Steam does not remove the installation folder wherever you put it with in my case 60Gb data sitting there now doing nothing. Need to go in Windows Explorer, find the root TSW3 folder in your Steam files and delete it manually.
I am still holding onto TSW3 until the official release date when I can bring over the rest of the routes but I have a feeling TSW3 will be gone in short order at that point. TSW2 I held onto a bit longer because the DLC rollout (on PS5) took like a month last year. We will see how this one goes.
In some ways I'm both looking forward to and dreading Tuesday, with my Steam D/L speed throttled at around 8.5 Mb/S it's going to take a couple of hours to download the 60Gb or so of content. I did contemplate just sliding the pak files over into TSW4 and seeing what Steam does on Tuesday, but not sure if that's quite the kosher thing to do.
Got a feeling I already emptied the Recycle Bin. I'm happy to wait, enough to keep me occupied with the new stuff for now. Though I am eager to give the MML VP185 HST a thrashing from Peterborough to Doncaster!
I actually got three 1TB M2 SSDs in my PC now, first being C: containing most Steam games, second one is TSC only and the third is dedicated to TSW. Last, a 4TB HDD for all my data and downloads. I'm prepared
By far Xbox X was the best. It pre dowloaded the deluxe when I purchased it a few weeks a go.When it launch yesturday it was ready to play. On steam I had to wait almost 1 hour and 30 minutes to download.
You probably have your XBox sleeping instead of staying turned off, and auto-updates set. Because every XBox owner had to download a lot of updates on the launch day. Your console did it automatically, if you have the settings as above.
I did try to port a handful of US routes into TSW4 from their TSW3 packs. I could see the layered freight services in the main menu, but trying to run them in game causes the game to crash due to the TSW3 assets not being baked for TSW4.
