Firstly, apologises. Turns out the Off-Topic board doesn't allow polls.
As such, I'll have to use TSW Discussion for all these voting threads. Clogging it up a bit. Anyway:

This thread is for the TSW World Cup's Great Britain Category Voting.

    The Groups are as Follows:
    Group A - British Rail (Diesel/Electric)
    Northern Transpennine
    Tees Valley Line
    Isle of Wight
    West Cornwall Local
    Blackpool Branches

    Group B
    Great Western Express
    London Commuter / Brighton Mainline
    Midland Mainline
    Glossop Line
    East Coastway

    Group C
    Peak Forest Railway
    Edinburgh-Glasgow
    Birmingham CrossCity
    Cathcart Circle Line
    Island Line 2022 (BR 484)

    Group D
Spirit of Steam: Liverpool - Crewe
    East Coast Mainline
    West Somerset Railway
    Southeastern Highspeed (TSW3/4)
    Bakerloo Line

    Two Routes advance per group.

    Voting Rules
"Rule" is more of a request, but you only get four votes here, so it's best you vote once per group.
It makes things more fun for everyone.
    Thanks.

Groups are indicated in the poll with a (Letter) next to the Route Name.
    For example:
    [ (A) Niddertalbahn ]

SEH somehow has something special to me (definetly not the secret ICE 3 services!!! ;))
I'm not really a british trains fan but I do like that easter egg. also think the route itself was good effort.

Group A is the group of death out of that bunch. Went Blackpool but that’s a tough group.

Also not surprised BML is leading big over MML. I actually went MML though. I play it way more. I’d rather drive a 158 over an Electrostar any day.

I would guess the winner of it all is going to be SEHS. Just because everyone’s had to have played it by now. But I’m interested to see how far Blackpool can go, even considering the fact that it’s a brand new route.

It's nice to see an older TSW 2 route still be enjoyed and be as popular as newer routes as shown so far by the poll. It just goes to show that a route with a fantastic timetable provides long-term gameplay - even more impressive considering London Commuter is still TOD 3 etc.

Group A’s issue will be that all of the routes barring BPO are quite old, so whilst on an even field they’re hard to pick from, BPO does a lot of core things better.

As for BML, the 158 is leagues above the Electrostars, but the timetable, service pattern & route length/self containment give it a massive bonus over MML as a route.

I believe OP will be doing a later poll for rolling stock once the routes are out of the way, and I reckon we’ll see a big change in what ranks where.

I will note that DLCs that come 3rd-5th in groups (this includes Europe and NA) are still in with a slight chance of going through. So, groups that are tight may see more go through.
Due to the lack of routes in NA, there's only three groups there. Two going through per group = 6 Routes progress, whilst Europe and this one have 8 going through. 22 in total. Needs to be 24. So, third-places will have a chance. A slim chance, but a chance.
