I remember travelling through Osnabruck in the 80s on the old D trains. If I recall, coming from Bentheim and heading out towards Hamburg, or vv, you actually passed through the station twice, using a chord line to then get from the low level to the high level or again vv. Could be fun!

I travelled on the Hoek Van Holland to Copenhagen services, I think the day train was called Holland Scandinavian Express and the night train Nord West Express. Two train ferry crossings included too!
