The British Rail Class 56 is a type of diesel locomotive designed for heavy freight work. It is a Type 5 locomotive, with a Ruston-Paxman power unit developing 3,250 bhp this train is the backbone of tees yard here are some of the visual details of the loco The cab is a sort of combination between a class 31 and class 47 this video should be the sounds, it includes the horn, and the thrash This train runs freight all across the uk and is mainly the backbone of British freight, and it would be a really amazing loco add on for tees valley line
Given Tees Valley is my fav UK route I would take this in a heartbeat although it does seem somewhat unlikely if for no other reason than being a route that already has two loco add ons.
For me this makes it MORE likely, and that the 56s have been used until recently as rescue locos and so on... would be a very useful additional loco for several reasons
Depends on what you mean by Addons. Loads of routes now use locos from other DLC so are "added onto", but because theree's already packs on that DLC, because it could easily sub in without major timetable overhaul I would say it would be easier to do on this DLC than other UK routes
I would like to have the class 56 in tsw2. There has been changed alot after 2000 at redcar & lackenby. So i guess the tmd thornaby closed because of that. Now its all gone. Here a link from explorers went into the depo short before it got demolished. https://www.28dayslater.co.uk/threads/thornaby-tmd-march-2010.48474/
