The Voith Gravita locomotives are a family of road switcher diesel-hydraulic locomotives built by Voith Turbo Lokomotivtechnik GmbH & Co. KG.. Available in a range of configurations from 4 to 6 axles, they are designed for shunting and light and medium freight operations these will be shunting tankers in the koln yards such as the turntable etc these trains are a mix of old and modern and would be quite good for a freight loco for koln Aachen with modernisation these will run 30 shunting services and 2 hauling broken down ICE 3’s into the depot scenarios: Repair Move(25 mins): move an ICE 3M to koln yard after a pantograph failure Tanker Storm (75 mins) shunt a bunch of tankers at night during a storm with worsening conditions Petrol Move: (55 mins) run a DB BR 261 hauling tankers from Koln Yard to Duren Sidings Petroleum Phenomenon(125 mins) shunt some tankers in the yard into a huge 12 wagon line and wait for the other loco to couple up to them and then put your loco back into a siding
Excellent Idea and MrSouthernDriver you need to consider the fact that the DB BR261 can layer onto other German Routes RRO with Vossloh G6 RSN with DB BR363 & Main Spessart Bahn with DB BR204. For HMA it will be found on Rangierbahnof Laim & Munich HBF Shuting freight and passenger wagons. Provided DTG listens to your suggestion of DB BR261 for SKA with it's own scenarios and timetable in addition to the shared yellow coupler with DB BR363
Like the loco, not sure about having it on SKA. It could work, but other (maybe future routes) could be a better fit. Personally I'd love to see it on my Köln-Wuppertal suggestion. It could do heavy shunting in Köln Kalk-Nord, and light freight services around Opladen and Solingen, where it can be seen in real life too. SKA could still work though.
