Experience a unique taste of historic Frankfurt by diving into two distinct lines of the network, the S5 and the S6.

The foundations for a modern rapid transit system through the centre of Frankfurt am Main, and beyond into the outer Rhine-Main region, were set in the late 1960s. Throughout the decade, planners had devised a new tunnel to be burrowed under Frankfurt, connecting the main station with a key commuter destination further into the city.

    the locos:

The Deutsche Bahn Class 423 EMU is a light-weight articulated electric railcar for S-Bahn commuter networks in Germany. The train has similar dimensions to its predecessor, the Class 420 EMU, but is significantly lighter and has one large passenger compartment, while that of the 420 is divided into three parts. The 423 additionally has six doors in eachcarriage (three on each side), which is down from eight on the 420 (four on each side). They are numbered from 423 001 to 423 462.

These trains are different to the ones on Munich Augsburg as they have much different motor sounds

here are some pictures of the train simulator version for a taste on what it could look like is TSW2

Really excellent idea and bonus for this is that if you are a owner of DB BR420 by TSG the destination boards can be retrofitted to say S8/S9 Mainz Hanau S6 Friedberg Because Frankfurt Am Main S-Bahn used DB BR420
